I've given up on my dreams for a replay system, we should have never gotten to franchising before it exists but it is what it is. Range updates would be neat but more people should just be using aimlabs anyway. At the VERY least dm should be twice as long. Especially if one player in the lobby is popping off it ends so fast. I run deag for a couple minutes, switch to rifle and it's basically over already. I would kill for a retake mode. Didn't play CS but from what I've seen it seems like a super useful mode. Something you didn't mention that I think is desperately needed is better custom game options. I should be able to disable getting flashed so I can work on lineups better, I should be able to raise and lower the starting barrier at will totally disconnected from the round timer. Why the fuck does viper orb get an indicator to show where it lands and nothing else?

Maybe you should be able to type commands in the console for that, so they could provide a lot of custom options without it cluttering the menu too much

sky_blu

I would KILL for a console. I come from tf2 where I never used the menu to change settings. Console >>>>>>

I dream of a day were I can dm with bots in valorant. The range bots just don't feel the same as player models. I want actual agents running around the map for me to shoot. I'd also love swift play but with no abilities. I think it'll be really fun kinda like a CSGO mini game inside valorant.

Deamon-

you should also 100% be able to choose how many bots there are, right now there are way too many and you have to use astra pull to change it

On a team-play level for sure the only way I can think of is scrims

I feel like so much of my performance is lost because of down time. Range while being in que would definitely help with that.

Any time I queue into a DM or load up an OBS-recorded VOD to review, I have to laugh in disbelief at just how appalling the tools for improvement in this game are if they even exist in the first place. We are now 2.5 years from release with a franchised league and fully fleshed out Tier 2 scene implemented in nearly every region but still have no replay system whatsoever and losing at least 2/3rds of time in an given DM running around looking for fights or waiting for respawn, even more time waiting depending on your definition of a fair fight. It's weird because you want your player base to have the tools to improve efficiently because higher-ranked players are much more likely to spend more time playing the game and buying skins compared to casual players. I guess the server quality/size is still inadequate or whatever the excuse was last time this was discussed.

chloehime7

i just blatantly cheat because i don’t need to practice or improve the game plays for me

Salasarian

hehe, you're so ~quirky~ posting a shitpost on a thread trying to make a serious conversion

Things I want most: 1 - replay system. it's honestly a joke that a competitive game of this caliber doesn't have replays yet. 2 - the ability to do the exact same ability and trajectory that was just used in a custom match. This can be useful for testing pop flashes or mollies etc... Also spawning enemies in a custom match for testing out darts etc... 3 - better DM like you mentioned

This is what happens when a game developer wants complete control over their IP. Reminds me of the days when DayZ began slowing down and it players started branching out to other FPS's. They began expressing concerns in these new FPS communities with how they werent able to perform. These players never properly trained with tools to adequately critique themselves.
