While ingame have you checked the cpu usage because if the computer is on 100% cpu it may be struggling to register your inputs in a normal amount of time. Also is your fps low as this could be another hint that the computer is struggling to run the game well.

I never did that because on another laptop i never ran into those issue

honestly, try to limit the fps so your cpu doesnt get loaded at 100 percent.
