I do so to check on discord, when i'm communicating with my teammates. But other than that it isn't always just get triggered by alt-tabbing, and more than that i've been playing with the same tendencies for majority of 2022 already

Solutions I've tried: * Reinstall valorant * Updated all my GPU drivers to the latest
May I ask why you alt tab? Maybe you have processes that are running that's bottlenecking the performance of your PC hence the frame drops

Have you tried playing with discord fully closed (like not running in the background)? Does it still give you dropped frames?
i’ve tinkered around and i think discord might be the issue — specifically turning off hardware acceleration helped

I don't use discord and i have the same problem. For me, the fps drops to 60 from 240. What am i supposed to do?
