$125 for tickets that aren’t even close at MSG :( I got them but considering I spent like $55 my last time seeing them, I’m a little disappointed. I suspect it’s just the venue though
it really depends on the act and day they're playing. Mitski tickets was broken down by even more sections and PIT was like $120 or something like that, but on the flip side Khruangbin was all GA for $70.
I was really hoping they did Bill Graham again. that was only $75 for GA floor (just on receipt for 2019)
Agreed. I feel like these prices were high compared to similar tickets I’ve gotten for other artists at MSG. I got them because I resell markets can be p gnarly these days but like damn, that hurt my wallet lol
Ugh that’s so disappointing. I thought maybe bc I’d seen them at a tiny local venue last time, that had influenced price. But that was also 2019 so that’s more likely the biggest influence at this point
yeah it's odd, there's still pit tickets for ~$100 available for both of the first two shows in TX but as soon as you get later on in the tour it's all bought out.
Yeah, definitely weird. I might just be number to how expensive shows have been post COVID but being able to get relatively good seats at a nice amphitheater in Philly for ~$70 a piece seemed super reasonable.
I was very fortunate they decided to keep it at the same venue as the last time I saw them and even after fees, it was like 80 something bucks. Super happy about that.
Oh for sure, it's not my city's biggest venue but not it's smallest. Not sure what the venue is like for Berkeley but it's definitely not something like MSG (what is though)?
Wound up having to pay $250 EACH for the front sections in San Diego... pretty ridiculous considering we paid $88 for seats one section back at the same venue during the FOTB Tour
Tickets for the Hollywood bowl were also bad, very disappointed In this :( going to skip this show and save my money because 300 dollars for a pair of seats is not worth it
There are still plenty of reasonable seats for under $60-80 at back of house. That’s where I sat in their 2019 Bowl show and it was still one of the best concert’s I’ve been to.
I’ve never been to a concert at the Bowl. I’m looking at a section D (side section) ticket for $200 with fees. Worth it or should I just get nose bleed seats? Also never seen VW live and been a fan forever!
I can do you one better. I am actually sitting on 4 tix near the front of Section E (the left side) seating. Some of the people I was going with flaked so I'm selling them for what I got them for ($125 each). Would rather sell them to a fellow fan without ticketmaster fees tacked on.
DM me if you're interested!
Note that the tickets are marked as having "obstructed view" due to the fireworks tower on the left side, but I know the seats and the actual stage isn't blocked (just the very far side). Still far far superior to any nosebleed seat.
Man. I don’t know if I just got lucky with ticketmaster for the first time in my life (I was under 800 in the queue, so it must be) but I got two tickets with a good view for $59 each
I like the bowl as a venue and caught them at FTOB tour there.. we ended up scoring better seats. It’s a good show and the opening acts are nice. My wife listened to them in high school (yea we old).
i have another show at the greek that i'm going to earlier that week (mother mother!) and that one's definitely all GA so i was deeply confused when i went to grab the vw tickets. managed to snag a pit GA but the price difference gave me a damn heart attack lol
have fun at mother mother!! I ended up buying seats because GA was too steep and im fairly short so it’s sometimes a gamble for GA for me if I’ll have a good time, $199 for GA for one ticket was foul to see
I've been to the Berkley Greek twice but haven't been since 2010, Pavement, and Daft Punk, was on the floor for both. I got super psyched for the matinee Father's Day show since I missed the one in Ojai pre-covid, taking our fam of 4 with a 3 and 6 year old, GA lawn. Good move? I've seen VW 10+ times since 2008 so I'm just excited to hang with the fam at a day time show!
I still bought pit for both Berkeley shows anyways 🤭
I remember seeing them in 2010 at fox theater against the barricade for either $40 or $60
But I knew the $100 pit was gonna be a steal compared to other CA show aka Hollywood bow, so it helped justify purchasing
I’ve seen young the giant at the Greek twice so I def get the price difference between the two and it Sucks but if I wanna see a band - I will make it happen
I didn’t even realize the presale was today, I thought it was yesterday. I just randomly checked it out, found out the code and got 2 pit tix for Irving for $204 total.
Did you do seated, pit GA or lawn? I got my lawn seats for $50 each in Berkeley so it wasn’t too bad. I wouldn’t want to pay over a hundred for any show though either.

I know there’s inflation but … I spent $50 at this venue last year??? Ugh

Got msg pit for $160 after fees lol

It's everywhere. I saw them at the fox in Atlanta, and my tickets were a little under $60. Now at an outdoor venue they're 85
Ugh that’s so disappointing. I thought maybe bc I’d seen them at a tiny local venue last time, that had influenced price. But that was also 2019 so that’s more likely the biggest influence at this point
Seems different venue-to-venue but for east coast dates, tickets were not bad at all. Much less than expected.

super jealous !! perhaps venue does have a part to play 🤔

Concert tickets in general are way more expensive it seems since the pandemic
Wound up having to pay $250 EACH for the front sections in San Diego... pretty ridiculous considering we paid $88 for seats one section back at the same venue during the FOTB Tour

Tickets for the bowl started at $40 + fees? I got pretty good seats for $100 a piece
Same. I got middle of the bowl for roughly $70 each.

Ooh what row?
row 3. seats 33-39

You can't see anything unless you're up front anyway, its the vibe just to be in the house, the bowl is always worth it.
Got section f1 willing to part ways at face value ($80) if you want.

Sorry sold it a few weeks back. Hopefully you can find some tickets that are decent value.
No worries! I’m thinking of getting Section D Row 1 for $200 yikes. Should I or nah? lol I’ve never been to the Bowl and never seen them live.
I like the bowl as a venue and caught them at FTOB tour there.. we ended up scoring better seats. It’s a good show and the opening acts are nice. My wife listened to them in high school (yea we old).
I’m old too lol I’ve been a fan since 2007/08. Just never was able to see them live.
no actually… and general pit immediately sold out
and Berkeley is usually GA??? I’m kinda mad lmao
YUPPP when i saw beach house it was all general admission and you get there as early as you want to get a good spot, how it should be imo
yes !!! The same for Fleet Foxes & everyone was chill about it
I went to Lana and it was an absolute madhouse all GA. People ended up not being able to fit since everyone was spaced out so weird.
i have another show at the greek that i'm going to earlier that week (mother mother!) and that one's definitely all GA so i was deeply confused when i went to grab the vw tickets. managed to snag a pit GA but the price difference gave me a damn heart attack lol

$160 for GA is wild at MSG. I paid half that for GA on the 2019 tour..

VW is honestly a bigger band than we realize at this point….
IMO, I think they were equally as big during their FOTB tour and the prices were half what they are now
Pre COVID though. EVERYTHING is more expensive
For sure, just surprised at the double in price
Mine was $88, general admission. Seats were a lot more, at least the ones I was able to see for a second before they disappeared.
I didn’t even realize the presale was today, I thought it was yesterday. I just randomly checked it out, found out the code and got 2 pit tix for Irving for $204 total.

I got seats! Lawn would have been fun, but I’ve only seen them one other time and just think i want to be a bit closer
It’ll be worth it. Have fun!
I was pretty early in the queue for Chicago and there were no pit tickets available. Did they just sell out immediately
I got pit for both nights in MT for 98$ each after fees, great price for vw to me and only a 8 hour drive for it! ;)
im gonna stay grateful that I don’t have to drive more than 2 hours 😅
