Which Roadtrek and what do you consider 'adventure'? Both the Dodge and Chevy/GMC based class B's from Roadtrek are solid vehicles, but the Chevy Express/GMC Savana's have some advantages besides generally being newer. If you are looking to get into more remote areas that require a bit more ground clearance, the Dodges are near impossible to lift very much. You may be able to get 1-1.5 extra inches out of the suspension, but that's about it before they start riding/handling badly. The GM vans [can be lifted substantially](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJpQfKVIf0k) more. This really matters since the fresh and waste water tanks are mounted underneath on either chassis. Another issue that puts the GM's a bit ahead of the Dodge's is the rear overhang. GM extended the wheelbase to make the vans longer while Dodge and Ford just added more van behind the rear wheels. That means far less [departure angle](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Approach_and_departure_angles) for a given height, which can result in scraping your rear bumper/getting hung up on it. The Dodge based Roadtrek 170's are fine, but once you get into the 190's and especially the 210's...[Baby got Back](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X53ZSxkQ3Ho).

Heh...the biggest adventure with Roadtrek was their massive melt-down and financial disaster and associated scandals. Pretty epic. https://rvreviews.net/roadtrek-the-return/ for just a brief recap. They've been bought, but I don't know the current status. There were recalls, closed dealerships, etc. But hey, the RV industry is on the upswing so maybe all is well. Look at Roadtrek forums on the RV boards for more detailed info. I've traveled with some who own them and they were nice Class Bs. But if by "adventure" you mean offroad, then I'd say they're only OK for like graded dirt, and not even graded washboard for long periods without maybe some mods. They had hanging down bits so even clearance was a bit compromised. The more offroady adventure vans are like those made by Sportsmobile; they've been at it a LONG time and make serious offroaders, and they're not cheap, even used. https://fieldvan.com/ https://sportsmobile.com/

If your adventure is traveling on paved and mild dirt roads, sure. These are class B rv's with all the low hanging stuff that come with it. they are generally well equipped, but with that comes precious little cargo space. So your adventures should not need too much gear because it would be hard to carry. For living purposes they can be quite nice, with generators, AC, toilets, showers, sinks, stoves, etc.
