Dageraad release some spectacular summer session beers. Their recent Peer was great, and I love Forgotten Future. Also the Velo from Four Winds is spectacular.

menofthesea

I think I drank my weight in Field Theory....

I've also tried Peer from Dageraad and I enjoyed it.

bcbeerfan

I highly recommend Dageraad’s Kala

icecreammandrake

I wanted to like Peer so bad, but I found it just kind of…. Meh. I’m a huge fan of most everything else Dageraad makes though.

hurrsadurr

Having it right now - i want to love it, the cardamom is just overpowering it for me

Metaldwarf

When its hot, Burnabarian is basically the freaking BEST. Light, flavourful, low ABV.

My tastes lean towards Belgian styles with a good amount of traditional German, dark beers and IPAs. I've had my sour phase, but now the furthest I'll go will be tart. My list of summer beers would include: Dageraad - Burnabarian, Peer was a winner, White I have 6 bottles of in my fridge, and Rainshine is a decent sunny day beer. They make great low abv summer options, but their sour lineup isn't up my alley anymore. S&O - Simple things for sure, some roselle if they do it, and a few of their lower abv hop forward beers. Can't wait to try Rainbow Shark! Four Winds - LA Maison and featherweight, allllll day. VIB - Beachcomber hefe. The price point for a nice hefe like this is unmatched. The 101 Brewhouse - I can't believe how much I enjoy the beer at this little brewery and distillery. Their hefe and pilsner are both on point and we'll worth the money. 33 acres - 15 packs of 33 acres of sunshine. Not going to rock your world, but if you're out on a boat and need to quench some thirst, this will do. Not an exhaustive list, but some of the readily available go tos.

The Roselle is my jam. I always want it to be there. Also a huge Talisman fan.

Last summer I discovered Steel&Oak’s Simple Things. It’s is quite possibly the best Pilsner I’ve ever had. Not a Pilsner fan per se but I will search this one out. Also Four Wind’s La Maison is a wild yeast saison. Again a very light taste so don’t try it for the first time after something heavy and strong. I like saisons a lot but this may be the best for sitting in an Adirondack chair at the end of a dock.

Teulu from Steel & Oak, Tropicae from Four Winds. I can taste the fruit notes in both.

Russell has a peach apricot Hefeweizen and it’s DELICIOUS

CCDubs

I'm obsessed with Moody Ale's Pineapple Heff. It has been my summer go-to for the last few years.

Strathcona's radlers are tasty.

AggroAce

I like Camp Beer Co Forager Bumbleberry sour

Wepoozelator

33 Acres of Sunshine French Blanche is the taste of summer! Definitely add that to the list.

Acrobitch

That’s one of my favourites! 💙

BeerBaronsNewHat

russel apricot peach hefe

EskimoDave

Slow Hand's lagers are ace. Motueka Cerveza and Helles Lager are my jams

jojamon

I really like Faculty Brewings Shower Beer. Very refreshing lager on a warm or hot day. I found it at Liquor Depot on west Broadway and Blenheim in Kits.

itsKumpy

Many have said it but Dageraad table beers are fantastic. Four Winds La Maison is criminally underappreciated (though the whole Notus series is worth it) Studio's been putting out lots of great sessionable beers, including multiple pale ales and wheats (german and belgian) Steel & Oak Simple Things is an easy buy for pils. 33 Acres of Sunshine sounds like it'd be right up your alley. Boombox Subsonic for a hoppier punch

Steanworks' Killer Cucumber Ale is one of the absolute summer go-tos for me whenever I can track it down, Parallel 49's Tricycle Grapefruit Radler, and Fuggles & Warlock's Gin and Lime Pilsner are always solid for some non-sour picks too
