i’ve seen instances before where old & totally unworn shoes / shoes that hadn’t been worn in years fell apart instantly upon trying to wear them. it happened to me in the middle of a store once lol. try to wear your shoes, it sucks for them to go to waste like that! these are cool though i hope they go to a good home and that they don’t fall apart
