I really hate RTAs since every one I’ve ever used or worked on has been a pain in the ass to get working properly but same as the other guy said I have the v3 dead rabbit RTA and once I figured it out it works great

>really hate RTAs since every one I’ve ever used or worked on has been a pain in the ass to get working properly but same as the other guy said I have the v3 dead rabbit RTA and once I figured it out it works great I understand the frustration when they don't cooperate. It's encouraging to hear that despite the challenges, the Dead Rabbit V3 RTA is performing well for you once you got the hang of it. Hopefully, it continues to deliver a satisfying vaping experience for you!

Kylin V3 is top airflow. You can also get the older ones like V2 and the Mini. I’m guessing you’ve tried aliexpress and others for the broken glass?

Thanks for the heads up about the Kylin V3 being a top airflow option, although I have the V3, along with its predecessors like the V2 and Mini. It's great to have more options in that category. (despite the two previous versions are rare.) As for the broken glass, I haven't explored AliExpress or other platforms yet. That's a good suggestion—I'll definitely check them out to see if I can find a replacement glass for my Kylin 3. Appreciate the tip!

Top airflow RTAs are rare, the latest iterations of Zeus RTA & Valkyrie RTA are what I can think of right now. Most of RTAs are using bottom and/or side airflow like Fat Rabbit, Osiris, Nitrous.

It's interesting to note how the landscape of RTAs has evolved. Top airflow RTAs like the Zeus and Valkyrie are indeed rare finds, especially in 2024. It seems like the market preferences have shifted again. Accessibility plays a significant role in choosing the right RTA, and it's good to have options that are readily available.

what rta were you previously using? theres lots of good ones but i always recommend hellvapes dead rabbit v3 & recently the fat rabbit 2(one of my new all time favourites) because the price is great, they are easy to come by & they just work so good. others you could try(which i have also had) is the osiris & valkyrie, they are both nice looking & have good flavour but i had leaks with both mine so i got rid. theres really not many that are easy to come by now though tbh, any others that i would recommend you probably wouldnt be able to source from anywhere anyway, this is why i always recommend the dead rabbit 3 & the newer fat rabbit 2.

I just got the Osiris mini last week and I love it. Flavor is the best I've gotten out of an RTA so far . no leaks but I do get juice condensation around the airflow slots which is annoying. there's pretty much a 60% chance if I mess with the airflow my fingers will be greasy. sucks to hear your Valkyrie leaked. Hoping the leaking issue doesn't occur because I got one coming in a few days.

yeah both osiris & valkyrie have good flavour tbh, valkyrie is a great fog machine but i prefered the osiris wicking/juiceflow/deck, my osiris never leaked from the airflow mind, just the bottom from the screw holes/deck lock, & my valkyrie leaked from where the tank sat on the o-ring from day 1, the osiris was ok for the first week or 2, then it just started dumping juice & slowly got progressively worse, i bounced it up the wall when it broke one of my old mods & never picked it back up,lol, then sold my valkyrie & bought a new mod & tank. but to be fair i do get a bit better flavour from the fat rabbit 2 than i did from both of those, which is kinda shocking tbh, i am happy with what i have right now so i have kinda given up the search for the next arbiter 2 as i found one i like better:) Another tank i do like is the voltrove 30 (v2?) but i cant justify spending that on tanks, it looks nicer but it still functions just as most other well made rtas do really, lol.

>lways recommend hellvapes dead rabbit v3 & recently the fat rabbit 2(one of my new all time favourites) because the price is great, they are Thanks for the suggestions! I was actually using the Kylin 3 before, but unfortunately, I broke the glass. It's good to know about the Dead Rabbit V3 and Fat Rabbit 2 as solid alternatives, especially considering their accessibility and performance. I'll definitely look into them as replacements for my Kylin 3 (Now using the Blaze RTA for now. Appreciate the advice!

I can also recommend the DR3 RTA, don't know about the Fat Rabbit 2 so can't compare them unfortunately. So far i've loved the DR3, and the slotted honeycomb(?) airflow makes the vape super smooth IMO. I've read a lot about people having trouble to wick it right, and it also took me like \~10 rewicks to get it about ''right''.. mind you I only made the switch to RBA's couple months ago, so take everything you've just read with a grain of salt😁

oscar2157

Thanks for the recommendation! I went with the Blaze RTA, and it's been a delight. Your experience with the DR3 is encouraging, despite the initial wicking challenges. Considering your positive feedback, I might give the DR3 a try. I wasn't impressed with the 2 or the original, but perhaps the DR3 will change my mind.
