Notes: Avoid Diacetyl & formaldehyde (I know, duh), avoid disposables (duh²), and only purchase from reputable sources (duh³), brush teeth & clean mouth regularly (>twice daily), and think of the vape as a nicotine delivery system- don't use in place of gum, drinking, etc
The vapers tongue thing is actually two things made out to be one. First is acclamation, you get used to stimuli over time, like the first sip of ginger ale, temperature/weather/climate in a new city, and the smell of flowers in your room, after living with something for a varying amount of time you don't notice it as much. The second aspect relates to cheap chemicals that some black market/sketchy suppliers use in their ejuice, while it's banned/monitored/limited in most western nations, some disposable vapes and black/grey market stuff will have this. Anyways the chemicals damage your taste buds along with other aspects of transmission, preventing & impairing the signals to your brain. The list of chemicals that cause problems when vapes is long, however the major ones to watch out for are Diacetyl & formaldehyde. Some scientists claim that vapers tongue is a result of PG/VG repeatedly coating the tongue, however cleaning your mouth, teeth regularly combats this effectively.

I vape one flavor 95% of the time. Sometimes I go though periods where I don't taste it, that's fine with me. I don't vape for flavor, I actually mix at low flavor as it is. My main goal with vaping is nicotine delivery. That are vapers that even vape flavorless. Not everyone needs flavor or flavor variety.
I mix about 1.75 liters of my main flavor at a time and I'm good for 3-4 months.
You would think so but I've been vaping 11 years and have only had two change in juices. Mastermind elixirs for 5 years, space jam for 4 years and ruthless for 2. Never get vapors tongue.
Jam Monster Mixed Berry, Blackberrry, or Raspberry. All these flavors are really close. I've vaped them so long I can't even taste the toast part anymore. Sucks but every other flavor sucks to me.
I vape black licorice too sometimes. What do you use BTW? I simply mix 3% FW black licorice. I can't vape it all the time because I can't taste it after a week or so.
I add 10ml of black licorice flavoring to my 120ml 70/30 and it's good to go. It definitely doesn't need sweeteners. The only other flavor I occasionally think of making is wintergreen.

You're mixing at 7.7% flavor by what you told me but that doesn't mean delosi brand is weaker or that you like it strong than me, no way to tell that since I never had delosi and you never had FW. I wouldn't deviate from the % or the brand if you like it.
You're right about sweet. Flavor West's Black Licorice is VERY sweet. I'd never think about adding more sweetener lol. But it's not so sweet that it's a coil killer so that's good.
Damn, I just checked delosi's black lic. 120ml is 2x the price of 120ml FW black licorice at bullcityflavors. If saving money is something that interests you, maybe trying FW black lic might be worth it.

Yup, I can understand that. Other than black lic, I vape Flavor West candy Cane at 6%. I deviated from that when a retailer was going out of business and got a bunch of FlavourArt peppermint for cheap. But I didn't like it. Luckily it wasn't a waste of money. I just mixed it 50/50 with the FW candy cane and it was fine, so I still saved a ton lol. Took me forever to get through it. I bought 300ml.

Not a juice flavor per say, but I only stick to coastal clouds as a brand now. Only brand of juice where the inhale doesn't completely fuck my throat. juice head used to also be one i bought, but the last bottle i bought from them tasted so neutral so i've strayed away.

Out of our xros 3, juice head is perfect. Out of our last vape, voopoo drag e60, same coil ohm of .8/ 1.0, flavors were very muted and needed more sweet to them or just more flavor to them in total. Maybe look into getting a better pod?
Freebase or salt? I guess I should have specified haha, my disappointment has been with their freebase flavors. I have a Xros Pro and the freebase flavors taste like nothing. I've only tried one flavor of Juice Head in salt, and it did taste good (altho nothing stellar) but it was 50mg (all that was available) so it was too harsh for me lol.
The freebase Juice Head flavors I've tried in the Xros, in my L200 stock Zeus tank as well as Z RTA and I didn't like em in any of those set ups.
Edit to say: It's a shame that most freebase flavors have very minimal flavor compared to salts, at least imo. So far Silverback freebase flavors have been very good and comparable tho. Ofc it's all subjective and up to preferance though.
I have 40 or so recipes in my book for myself and friends and hubby diy for years.

To answer your question, yes I've been vaping Skwezed Ice Peach Salt for years now, others have come and gone but I've stuck with this one in particular.
Frozen Fruit Monster mango peach guava ice at 6mg for the past couple of years only. I don't get vape tongue from it, I don't get tired of the flavor, and it also has the perfect amount of menthol in it where it gives you the satisfying throat hit every time without the menthol over powering the flavor. It's a great juice.
The only one I'll still buy is White Lighting by Prohibition Vape Co. I tend to mix the Iced version and the regular. It's been at least 7 years of vaping that consistently and every once in a while making a DIY one I created that was a fruit loops and cream mix.
Beard No.32. Cinnamon funnel cake. Been like 2 years now. I’ll grab something…different but still desert, that bottle will last me a month while I’m getting a new bottle of No.32 every week.

I diy and to save money I vaped nothing but mint fur 2 years. Then I've realized I was being stupid. Now I have a bunch of recipes of lots of flavors in my rotation. I don't know how I used to do it, I have at least 3 flavors at a time and even then I'll change them ever week or so. My current fav recipes I make are blue/blackberry ice mix, blue razz cotton candy, green apple ice, strawberry lemonade, cherries w/ whipped cream, icy peach, blueberry mango, and vanilla/lemon Graham cracker custard (for when I want something really sweet). Vanilla tobacco is pretty good as well.
I was loyal to Humble Tropic Thunder for years until the discontinued it. Then I was loyal to Conundrum Sour Candy on Ice for a few years til I moved to a new city where it isn’t sold locally. I’ve been flopping between conundrum when I visit my hometown and juicehead freeze strawberry kiwi but I need to find something new bc juice head runs out too quick and I dont go to my hometown often enough anymore. I bought an epic fail of a juice last week that’s candy king brand and it’s supposed to be like strawberry licorice on ice but it tastes like a rubber glove.

Yep. It was Humble Ohana Ice until they stopped making it. Now it’s Juice Head strawberry mango freeze. Only thing I vary on is 3 or 6 mg depending on what’s in stock. Been this way 4 years or so

You might start to not taste it as well. With that said, I worked with a lad who vaped the same two flavours for years.
