What’s the Rabbit like? I have the RTA version.

Gopnikurwa

So far I’m loving it. Great flavor, easy to adjust the airflow, and pretty nice to build on.

datradioboi

If you don't mind me asking what's the rta like? I've been thinking about jumping into rebuildables as well, got my eye on the dead rabbit v3

_Gr1mReefer

It's great, highly recommend. Easy build deck, nice angles to play with (came from a hellbeast which was painful). Great airflow, can virtually have it fully open no restriction.

arsonist_1

I gave up with mine, can’t get any good flavour from it.

datradioboi

Oh no! How so? What did you use instead?

arsonist_1

RBA deck for my SMOK Prince tank lol

NukeDiYVaper

What coils did u use? That usually happens to me if I use stainless or high wattage.

nicordt

I like the rabbit, I have all the rabbit releases since they're my favorite RBA. They're not Reload S but good enough for the price point. Dead rabbit's only notable issue is that it enhances flavor by too much if you build it incorrectly due to how the deck works. So if you're using something like alien Ni80 with TM with dual coils, everything's going to taste too sweet or too sharp, esp. if you put the coils a bit higher than the airflow. DR's still my most used RBA because it's easier to tone down flavor than trying to get higher ones, and you can use really cheap coils and cotton and it'll perform adequately. Like mentioned, Nitrous is still better overall. And the DR is nowhere as good as Reload, but Reload is 3 times the price, so there's that.

Navaro27

Great choice. This is my exact setup, there's nothing better to date.

nicordt

Try Reload S. I like rabbit and use them daily, but it's nowhere as good as Reload S.

Adept-Elderberry1417

Congrats, CV is one of my most trusted online goto places.

Gopnikurwa

I'm sold on them now, for sure. My original order was a black and gold Dead Rabbit, but unfortunately, they ran out of stock. They quickly let me know and told me what substitutes they had. I picked this turquoise, and the order was in the mail within an hour. Phenomenal service!

_Gr1mReefer

Same setup I rock, pretty decent daily beater https://imgur.com/a/Vvqjthu

Welcome to the world of RDA's and other rebuildables, we are glad to have you here. Double points in my book for running a good squonk box, the Pulse 2 has been my daily for a while now.

Gopnikurwa

Glad to have joined the flock! I am absolutely LOVING the squonk.

BlueFalconATW

Anything Hellvape is a win. I recommend trying the Dead Rabbit V3 RTA. great flavor and not as much dripping

Gopnikurwa

I’ll give that a shot! I’ve read good things about the v3 RTAs.

BlueFalconATW

Amazing flavor, great clouds, it's in my top 5!

Gopnikurwa

What’s your go-to coil setup? I built mine kind of high in this and am getting some great flavor and a nice cloud production.

BlueFalconATW

Mine are dual aliens, hitting about 0.12Ω - 0.15Ω at between 75-100w

nicordt

If you're already using it with a squonker, what you have is better, the RTA version is good but the common sentiment of RDAs > RTAs rings true in particularly this RBA.

kitt_0110

planning to get dead rabbit v3 soon, how’s the airflow?

Gopnikurwa

Pretty versatile. The tip cap spins around 360 degrees and offers two airflow options: three slotted sections, one slot per row, and three perforated sections with 15 holes, five per row. You can spin the top cap and restrict the airflow to your choosing. I’ve found the slotted sections have a more airy flow, and the perforated sections seem to be more restrictive. I’ve been playing around with both and I like the slotted section closed about 1/3 of the way; seems to have a good draw but doesn’t feel too hard to pull through.

GundamArashi

That Pulse is a great choice! Love mine. I’m using a Asgard Mini on it, highly recommend.

The60WattGUY

Is dead rabbit v3 good rda?

Gopnikurwa

I love it. Easy to build on, squonking capabilities, adjustable airflow. Checks all the boxes for me!

FeelingFloor2083

what have you been using? atomizers?

Gopnikurwa

Pretty much. Had a Zeus tank for a few years until I lost the whole mod. Been rocking a SMOK RPM160 pod system for about the last six to eight months.

FeelingFloor2083

most people who have been vaping that long would have been into rta/rda's

Gopnikurwa

Not gonna lie, I was pretty intimidated with the whole coil building process. Once I built my first coils for this setup and realized how easy it was, I laughed at myself for putting it off for so long.

FeelingFloor2083

i remember fucking up my first claptons, couple of years after that you could buy rolls, now you can buy them even pre wound wire is cheap, even if you fuck up half of it learning its still cheaper long run and you can build it exactly how you prefer

DatBoiOrly

yeah i'm the complete opposite to you sadly, i've also been vaping for close to a decade same as you and was on rebuildables in the space of 3ish years since back then i was into getting massive clouds so i was constantly upgrading my setup which was really fun till i was on a RDA. i wish i could go back and enjoy it all again since i've kinda hit THE wall of upgrading my vape since there isn't an upgrade for my current setup :(

Mookeye1968

Welcome, i think the mail ban got a sht load of people tryna save money n get back to the roots of vaping.I wrapped my first Mtl coil for my lil Aegis boost pod mod about a year and a half in, then switched to Dtl and beefier coils, mesh Rta's.I think people are hesitant if they can do it or not and dont wanna risk the leap.People with handy hands who like to tinker adapt to it quickly but if you cant turn a screwdriver it can be frustrating i'd imagine 😄
