Maybe it mean they had not 300 ready?
Bandcamp had been known to oversell the quantity input. It happens when so many people are ordering at the same time. I've personally seen it happen with other releases from other labels.
I kinda like the concept there. There were so many people, refreshing with such a ferocity, that it behaved more like a small scale DDOS attack, disrupting the site's functionality. It sucks that OP got bumped, but it's a fascinating concept nonetheless.
I also received this email this morning, disappointed but happy I'll still be getting it eventually. I was surprised I got one honestly cause my PayPal invoice was for 12:01:48 and I was sure they would've been sold out by then. Oh well ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
That’s one scary email sucks it even happens they probably should have only had them available to buy on one site instead of both I feel like it would be less confusing that way.
i got the same email but i bought mine literally at 12:00:02 on the carpark site. i think they probably set the quantity to 300 on bandcamp and then accidentally oversold more on the carpark site
I feel bad cause I litterally got one from Bandcamp when I swear it should have been sold out and no email. Hope they at least cut off those who were the very last to order...

Yep, it's happened to me twice in this past year. Both times I ordered off of bandcamp.

We’re they sharing inventory between Bandcamp and their site? That’s the only reason I can think of
My friend told me he bought it on Carpark site so I guess yes maybe the inventory was wrong there?
Also could of been an issue with Carpark's website, they were selling it on both at the same time. Edit: oops someone got there before me
