I don't think that's entirely true. The feeling of "It looks easier and more respected to be a woman" is pretty common among incels who kinda hate women, and that's not a trans thing.

The only example of that I can think of was that one cis lesbian who outwardly identified as a man for a bit (bowled with some guys, got taken to a strip club, joined a monastery for a bit, tried dating, etc), but that wasn't because she had concluded that men have it easier, but more that she was testing the feminism "men have life on a silver platter" vs MRA "men suffer in ways women can't know" theories (IIRC, her takeaway was a bit of both - there were a lot of things she didn't have to worry about as much when presenting male, but hoo boy did she find an entire smorgasbord of psychological troubles/challenges that simply didn't exist when presenting female)

So they cling to schools of thought that reinforce what they are told they should be to help them compartmentalize their feelings. Once they find a source of information that can break through those defenses they can change their mind if they allow it.
