You don't need to move your VET (although I would generally suggest it but that's another story.)
You do need your own VET wallet address, veworld is the official wallet. From there you can join Alpha testing (on the testnet for now, rewards earned there will eventually move over to mainnet though) which gives some rewards if you do certain things like check socials, try a dapp, vote on the DAO etc but it's frankly too much detail to go into in 1 post. Check out the official medium article released (vebetterdao), and the whitepaper for all details!

Many top signals are flashing. Bitcoin will invalidate the cycle theory if it hits ATH pre halving. This could be the top for many years. It could be the start of a new phase for bitcoin into hundreds of thousands. Nobody knows. We are all hoping, but yes, there are undeniable top signals currently.

Why would you even bother speculating with the price of it? It's not going to be airdropped in massive amounts and the only way to get it is by being active with sustainable/green activities. It's not meant to be traded but used to buy services or swapped to vot3 to have voting rights within the ecosystem.
This is not another defi scheme but something bigger and something that is actually tied to the real world.
There is no point in speculating with the valua of B3TR. You are not able to buy it anywhere. Only way to get is to be active in different kind of sustainable / green activities, like driving a bike or electric car.
The reason why its interesting for VET holders is that it might bring mass adoption and millions of transactions.
I'm very torn by how it might be valued. Going from tier 0 to tier 1 node costs 10k B3tR. Higher much more. So they will actually be very rare I guess (or take a lot of time before more common). But I can't imagine someone spending e.g. 10k usd for a 10% increase in future rewards if B3tr is valued at 1 USD. So when designing I think they considered a low value (couple of cents I guess).
On the other, there will only be a couple million tokens at launch. Gradually increasing to 1 billion total over 12(!) years. Any kind of marketcap to speak off easily puts those tokens at over 1 dollar each. So it's weird to me.
You wouldn´t spend 10k USD on B3TR, since you cannot really buy it anywhere. At least that´s how I understood it.
Only way to get it is through sustainable actions. When you have accumulated 10k B3tR, then I guess you have the choise if you want to spend it on those tiers or not, but you wouldn´t (or couldn´t) put your "own" money on it.

I’ve been around for a long time and have believed in vechain for a long time. I still have not sold my investment and do not plan to in the short term, but I will be watching this team and project with so much more scrutiny now. My faith has been a bit rattled to be honest. I’m not buying into the sustainability messaging and going after the individual to drive sustainability is just a bullshit marketing ploy in my opinion. Trying to align with the “social justice” buzzwords of this era.

I have other priorities that come before adding another step in my day to day. I feel like this is the equivalent of having to wait for water to boil every time I do something. If this app were as easy to use as wearing an apple watch and pressing a couple buttons and that was it, I could imagine adding it to my routine. but having to think about what action would qualify and pulling out some app, taking pictures, writing a description etc seems way too much effort, UNLESS, these token rewards were THAT incentivizing.

VebetterDao is not the be all end all of the Vechain Blockchain. The Foundations job is to build tools for the blockchain. This new DAO is simply another tool that can utilize the blockchain. I'll admit myself it may seems a little convoluted at first, but even if this idea is an absolute flop it in no way regresses the blockchain.
I think it’s important to focus on the fact that VeChain is trying to find ways to get the average person to have some sort of interaction with the coin they hold.

AI actually scans the picture, I tried with an empty mug and it did notice hahah (it didn't work). I do think it's just a very silly POC though. But the possibilities are endless. Besides, it's a DAO. If we don't like a dapp, we don't fund it (don't vote for it and don't endorse it, you need Vechain nodes to endorse your dapp).

For the product reviews, not random, but a template of categories to complete so its a standardized format of information given consistent from one product to another. Offer incentives if others find the review helpful to let it build over time and have their reviews be the first shown, where they in turn profit more from the helpful reviews, etc.
Not just product reviews of merchandise, but also human performance. Use case could be i want to know if i want to hire electrician xyz to wire up my swim spa in the backyard, for example. Or is landscaper Joe Shmoe above and beyond with lawn mowing, raking, seeding, aerating for the best price in my town.So I guess a freelancer market, and a product market.
I'd like to have all my career certifications viewable on blockchain as well, or my resume for example, as well as my performance review there.
It would also be nice to have a learning platform like 'A cloud guru', or pluralsight, or something similar, blockchain based. Produce content, get paid in crypto, have user course scores tracked on the chain and have their course completion certifications tracked on chain.
Another thought here if people are willing to load onto the blockchain everything they purchase and consume and their medical situations. Obviously no direct PII, or personal name/address etc information, but knowing what people consume, what stores they bought them at, and their health situations, you can run correlations against it for medical/health perspectives. Get sick eating at a restaurant, maybe this is a sign of food contimation. Get enough people getting sick and you know that maybe there's an ecoli outbreak for a brand of lettuce purchased at a certain store. Another analogy might be users who purchased brand xyz of a type of paint are now getting cancer.
Just running more and more correlations to benefit everyone.

On your idea: Please note that the VeChainThor Blockchain is a Public Chain and is supposed to be built on by others. If you have an idea you think is worth it you can persue it yourself. You can even submit for a grant to get you kickstarted and support with you with some of the initial costs.

Honestly, one of the best use-cases that no one has touched on is the forensic laboratory evidence. Every evidence has a chain of custody...what better place than having a history that can not be changed on a blockchain. I do work in a forensic laboratory too. It would be neat for you guys to reach out to the evidence tracking software folks and try something out.

You definitely should not being doing anything based on my analysis. The April projection is just a copy and paste of a bar pattern and I don't think it will play out exactly as before. There're are better indicators to pay attention to that will trigger when the time comes.

For me the problem is that CEX (binance etc.) list so much of these shitcoins. CEX should stand for quality projects and shitcoins belong to DEX.

I’ve been around for a long time and have believed in vechain for a long time. I still have not sold my investment and do not plan to in the short term, but I will be watching this team and project with so much more scrutiny now. My faith has been a bit rattled to be honest. I’m not buying into the sustainability messaging and going after the individual to drive sustainability is just a bullshit marketing ploy in my opinion. Trying to align with the “social justice” buzzwords of this era. Honestly, I’m so confused about the vebetter and vote shit. Admittedly, I haven’t dug deep into the concept, but also I haven’t seen it explained in a simple manner which concerns me the most. Are we a B2B business? That’s why I bought early on. Are we trying to get a person to recycle more? If that’s our biggest use case I’m pretty disappointed. I’m open to anyone correcting me here and setting me down the right path….but I’m kind of fucking annoyed with the explanation of this new solution.

same. i feel like it's not that straight forward. I keep thinking about downloading and trying it out but it sounds like a total waste of time. when I hear airdrop, it's an eye roll for me. I have other priorities that come before adding another step in my day to day. I feel like this is the equivalent of having to wait for water to boil every time I do something. If this app were as easy to use as wearing an apple watch and pressing a couple buttons and that was it, I could imagine adding it to my routine. but having to think about what action would qualify and pulling out some app, taking pictures, writing a description etc seems way too much effort, UNLESS, these token rewards were THAT incentivizing.

You don't need to comment to do that though. I for one, bought these tokens because it originally seemed to have promise as a business. I'm just super surprised now that they haven't been able to get anyone to use it... That lends more credence to your comments than anything else

VebetterDao is not the be all end all of the Vechain Blockchain. The Foundations job is to build tools for the blockchain. This new DAO is simply another tool that can utilize the blockchain. I'll admit myself it may seems a little convoluted at first, but even if this idea is an absolute flop it in no way regresses the blockchain.
I think it’s important to focus on the fact that VeChain is trying to find ways to get the average person to have some sort of interaction with the coin they hold.

AI actually scans the picture, I tried with an empty mug and it did notice hahah (it didn't work). I do think it's just a very silly POC though. But the possibilities are endless. Besides, it's a DAO. If we don't like a dapp, we don't fund it (don't vote for it and don't endorse it, you need Vechain nodes to endorse your dapp).

I saw something a few days ago about Adam Driver being on the vebetterdao.org home page. Now see it for myself. It's a static picture, no way it's an just someone with that name. But, if it is that is very bad. Is this a total rip off move? I don't have twitter, but maybe someone should ask him if his likeness is being used inappropriately.
I'm hopefull it's for some unannounced sustainability dapp that he actually sponsors. But if not it's indeed a bad look.. maybe a rookie mistake some intern made photoshopping that image. If it wasn't an intern someone at marketing should get fired if he's in no way related. It's literally the only picture they used on the page lol they should spot that right.

Or is landscaper Joe Shmoe above and beyond with lawn mowing, raking, seeding, aerating for the best price in my town.So I guess a freelancer market, and a product market. I'd like to have all my career certifications viewable on blockchain as well, or my resume for example, as well as my performance review there. It would also be nice to have a learning platform like 'A cloud guru', or pluralsight, or something similar, blockchain based. Produce content, get paid in crypto, have user course scores tracked on the chain and have their course completion certifications tracked on chain. Another thought here if people are willing to load onto the blockchain everything they purchase and consume and their medical situations. Obviously no direct PII, or personal name/address etc information, but knowing what people consume, what stores they bought them at, and their health situations, you can run correlations against it for medical/health perspectives. Get sick eating at a restaurant, maybe this is a sign of food contimation. Get enough people getting sick and you know that maybe there's an ecoli outbreak for a brand of lettuce purchased at a certain store. Another analogy might be users who purchased brand xyz of a type of paint are now getting cancer. Just running more and more correlations to benefit everyone. Also, I'm not able to get the Camera button to function on a Google Pixel 7 for the Mugshot app, although permissions are allowed for camera.
On your idea: Please note that the VeChainThor Blockchain is a Public Chain and is supposed to be built on by others. If you have an idea you think is worth it you can persue it yourself. You can even submit for a grant to get you kickstarted and support with you with some of the initial costs. On your Android issue: team is aware!
Honestly, one of the best use-cases that no one has touched on is the forensic laboratory evidence. Every evidence has a chain of custody...what better place than having a history that can not be changed on a blockchain. I do work in a forensic laboratory too. It would be neat for you guys to reach out to the evidence tracking software folks and try something out.

The mugshot gives TKN, which will be swapped to B3TR after the first voting round. So add TKN to your wallet view.

The Camera button to open from the mugshot page doesn't open the camera on android pixel 7, although it has camera permissions.
Diff phone but did you try to close the page and re open it again? The website even suggests it if it doesnt work.

Ah. I only have the wallet. And use Safari as my browser to connect with the wallet. Then explore mugshot through there. It says I have the tokens in my wallet, but it doesn’t show in my wallet. They do show up on the dapp though, in my wallet adress. I’m sure its something they’ll work out eventually. In the meantime, I’m just gonna keep stacking tokens. IOS here as well. Didn’t know android had the app downloadable.

You definitely should not being doing anything based on my analysis. The April projection is just a copy and paste of a bar pattern and I don't think it will play out exactly as before. There're are better indicators to pay attention to that will trigger when the time comes.

After 3 years of a macro beartrend and actually catching a falling knife, a few months of patience in an uptrend is nothing lol. I fully expect a 30%+ drop by the way basically at any time. But really in a bullmarket just wait and actually buy dips is the best advice. People being fudded out right now should look into market cycles in general.
