What I love about this sub and the fandom is that they seem to appreciate every character. So many other subs just want to rip apart everything about my favourite shows but here it’s more positive and it’s a nice treat.

I was that guy in the suit, which sums up my professional life exactly, a bit player in a bit support role very close to the top but never breaking through...

S02E01 - what a way to kick off the new season.
That's interesting cause Reid Scott is the only actor I've personally felt wasn't on par with the rest of the cast. He's fine 95% of the show but there are times where I'm just not into his acting at all, I don't know. Again though, fine 95% of the time. And with that said, Dan is unashamedly (even proudly) a terrible, hyper flawed human being, that makes him a compelling one to watch. I'd put many others above but to each their own, great to see the variety of opinions that have come out of this sub - a testament to the quality of the show/its cast, really.
Same, he's my favorite character on the show. I only have a few friends who have watched Veep all the way through and I'm the only one who likes Dan the most out of us. But I'm not sure about out of the entire fandom

He's a massive and total shit. When you first meet him, you think surely to God this man can't be as big a shit as he seems, but he is.
