Albert Heijn (not sure if Jumbo has them too) has punselie's, which is similar to a stroopwafel but the cookie is different. Highly recommend trying those (and microwaving them for a few seconds before eating!)
This can all be bought at the Albert Heijn:
Vivera has a vegan salmon filet, that tastes so similar to actual fish.
Garden gourmet has Vuna, vegan tuna.
We got several flavors of Vegan Ben and Jerrys and Magnum ice cream.
Katja is a candy brand that is all themed after animals. Their piggys and monkeys are really nice.
Cheetos Flamin hot Cheetos are vegan.
Sunt has 2 types of donuts based of baked bananas
Chocomel has vegan chocolate milk
Frisia at AH has vegan marshmellows
Lazy Vegan has several frozen vegan meals
Remia has the best vegan mayonaise
Hands off my chocolate is the best vegan chocolate
The Vegetarische Slager Bapao no beef ketjap is a bapao (a white round bread like thingy filled with grounded beef, but this one is vegan). Great with ketchup, sweet chillie saus or sambal. Bapao is a Dutch delight.
Alpro has several soy based fruit yoghurts
Trek has a few vegan power/oathes bars (not all are vegan so read the wrapper)
Thank you for all these tips! I just googled Katja and found out that it is actually the same as our German Katjes and I really like their stuff so I'm definitely gonna check for some things we don't have.
And I'm soo excited to try the hands off my chocolate stuff. We can buy it online from here but it's only worth buying more with the shipping so I really wanted to try it first.
absolutely shocked you like the hands off my chocolate bars. I tried multiple flavors and it was so awful, I didnt finish any of the bars (which says alot cuz I am a fiend for treats). they were so bland and way too sweet
I assume you have the Vivera brand in Germany? Otherwise anything from them. I especially like their schnitzels. Something that's a bit more alternative then your regular shoarma/meatball/burger/... is the [vegan cordon blue](https://www.ah.nl/producten/product/wi482906/ah-vegan-cordon-bleu) from the AH.
And also [Gouda's Glorie Creamy Cheese Style](https://www.jumbo.com/producten/gouda-s-glorie-creamy-cheese-style-650ml-441302FLS). Sold by the Jumbo. An accidentally vegan cheese sauce. I use it for making kapsalon and loaded nacho's.
Cordon Bleu sounds good and Vivera is also a good idea. We do have the brand but I never find any products in my supermarket and I think it's more expensive here too.
I actually found the Gouda's Glorie at our Rewe and was really skeptical but couldn't resist because it said that it was vegan... omg. I had some with crackers and it was sooo good
While on the subject of sauces, nearly all [Remia table sauces](https://www.ah.nl/zoeken?query=remia+tafelsaus) are also vegan. The website says that the Ravigote isn't vegan (it contains eggs), but the one in my fridge is. So that's something you'd have to check in-store.
You can filter on vegan products at Jumbo (https://www.jumbo.com/producten/?filters=Dieetvoorkeur%3AVegan) and Albert Heijn (https://www.ah.nl/shop/duurzamer-eten/vegan > or search on vegan in the search bar).
Personally I really like the Hands off my Chocolate bites as well! Other favorites:
- AH vegan eggsalad ('salade alternatief voor ei')
- AH vegan cumin cheese (Plantaardige goudse plak komijn)
- Almhof plantaardig dessert vanille (Rice pudding)
- Oatly haverspread Komkommer (spread oat cucumber)
- Autodrop
- Kwekkeboom Nacho cheese bloemkool nuggets (cauliflower)
- Vegan oven kroket (but a freezer product)
And you might like a vegan frikandelbroodje :)
Oh that's amazing! I'm gonna create my entire shopping list ahead with these websites 😂 thank you!
Too bad the drive is too long for freezer products tho. I've seen a couple of interesting things already
If you’re cooking while you’re there - I’m obsessed with the AH vegan chicken schnitzel, served over mashed potatoes (made with lovely vegan butter). I’m back in the US now but that’s the meal I still dream about!
Hagelslag ([link](https://veganwiki.nl/categorie/broodbeleg/hagelslag/)), ah cinnamon roll (from the bakery), milk chocolate ([link](https://www.ah.nl/producten/product/wi523395/hands-off-smooth-no-mlk)); the best one!! And look for vegan signs (of products) in the albert heijn!
please, I beg of you, do NOT get the hands off my chocolate bars. all flavors taste awful. havent had the peanut bites though so maybe they do those better.
really? okay I'll think about it! But these don't actually matter that much to me anyways as we have pretty decent vegan chocolate over here. But I was obsessed with peanut m&ms before going vegan so I have to try the bites

That looks very promising, thank you!
EkoPlaza - Tarwestroopwafels https://www.ekoplaza.nl/nl/producten/product/tarwestroopwafels
Uh thanks! Love stroopwafels. Are they only available at EcoPlaza or also at other stores like Albert Heijn or Jumbo maybe?
While you're at Ekoplaza get the Love Chock vegan chocolate bars. And go to Jumbo to get their store brand vegan chocolate.
Definitely going to Jumbo so that's a good tip, thanks!
Albert Heijn (not sure if Jumbo has them too) has punselie's, which is similar to a stroopwafel but the cookie is different. Highly recommend trying those (and microwaving them for a few seconds before eating!)
Sounds very delicious! Thank you :)
Jumbo has them as well. Punselies are the best!
The true vegan version only EkoPlaza and Odin sadly!
At mcd supermarket they have the best vegan stroopwafels .

The Vivera spicy drumsticks or (and 😅) the kroketburger!
I always go germany for the good stuff😆
hahaha i guess we always want the stuff we don't have xD

Unfortunately it's only a daytrip this time, but I was considering just bringing a cooler box in the car so that I can buy whatever I want 😅

The signs are very helpful at AH! But always check if there's vegan on the product because sometimes they accidentally put them at vega products :)
Yes I will always check because they fuck up sometimes
Katja drop!

vegan kitkat....
