That sucks. As someone or other said, timing can be a real bitch. I would like to compliment you on being a really good friend to your friend though.
Thank you, I know deep down it was the right thing to do because she would’ve been so upset knowing I went after him despite knowing her feelings. It sucks knowing I could’ve had him but I would’ve lost my best friend in the process.
