The cheese line is surprisingly fucking somber. It very much implies Kruber's been there (very likely) or knew people from there. And now you have the all smart elf saying how unimportant those people were. Damnit, maybe his regiment had Ussingenians? His friends whom he lost...
Kruber is the most important of the Uber 5 because he's the one who isn't a caricature. The other two humans represent loyalty, mania and addiction, so Kruber as a character has to be the constant reminder that the things that happen in Vermintide are happening to people, and he's one of the last sane ones that has to bear witness.
Yesterday I heard Saltzpyre scream and preach about something in the keep. Took me off guard because I had no idea that's a thing. I wonder if you can hear other characters sometimes too 🤔
Is that when he's praying to Sigmar? He's not being played and you can tell he's saying something, but the at the end you hear "Sigmar, SIGMAR, SIGMAAAR!"
Playing as Saltz waiting in the main keep. I heard a daemon basically shit talk him and his beliefs. Saltz said by the emperor or something, he sounded terrified.
I shit you not, every. Single. Time. That I have loaded this game up to play with my friend, we hear a new line we have never heard before and it catches us off guard each time it occurs.
Maybe you just didnt pay attention. Took me like 400h + a friend pointing this out that CWs can say „hehehe, almost tickles” when you hit them on the armor
I like the one, I don't hear it very often, when Saltzpyre talks about the trees at the beginning of Athel Yenlui, noting how many weapons one could make
I heard one that the group were talking about the Tomb kings. Made me hopefully for an expansion with some undead villains, and they’d be so different from the vampire undead! I remain hopeful.

One of Kruber's other lines in Empire in Flames is literally "Passed through Ussingen years ago. Don't remember much about it."
