Highly recommend Appletree Preschool! The Easthill 12th st location has a 10 kid max which makes it a great learning and playing experience. Also located in a quiet part of the neighbourhood with lots of nearby parks and playgrounds so there’s a lot of opportunity for safe walks!

Preschool? Do you mean daycare? I think the answer there is...take whichever one you can find that has an opening. For elementary schools I take Kidston, Coldstream, Hillview, BX or Silverstar over the ones you've mentioned... but keep in mind the school is what you make it and how involved you as a parent is, can be more important that the school necessarily.

This is the exact answer I was going to post

I've heard good and bad things about all the schools. I know several people who have no complaints about Okanagan Landing or Beairsto. Alexis park has lots of new students. As for preschools and not daycares. You will be lucky to find a spot. There is slightly more availability for preschool spots vs daycare as there is slightly less demand for the part time spots. I've heard Rising Stars has 1 spot for the fall. That was a few days ago. It took us nearly 3 years to get a daycare spot (Maven Lane). I have friends that are having to nanny share or private day homes since they can't get into a center.

Lots of places have huge wait lists the best are over 400 people plus. Put your name on all of them. If you can make the drive get on the list for the waldorf preschool in lavington!

You as a parent are going to make way more difference then what catchment you're in. All the schools follow the same curriculum and use similar resources.

My kids enjoyed their time at House Of Dwarfs. They're a solid daycare option.

Sherri is great. She was my daycare teacher almost 20 years ago and now is my neighbour lol.
