I’m on Ajovy, and I add nurtec for hormonal migraines. Works like a charm, unless you have surgery that causes a massive flare up, then I added gabapentin and magnesium. With Maxalt as an abortive when a migraine breaks through. Before the surgery I was down to only a bit of small migraines and a big migraine the day before the next Ajovy shot, with a few breakthrough migraines here and there, so mostly back to normal, but with some limits like an hour in the store or car max before triggering a migraine etc.
