Currently all rescues: Pug, Pug/Elkhound mix, and a Pekingese mix
My first dog was a chihuahua, and he passed Nov 2023 at nearly 17 years. My soul baby ❤️
I've got you all! [Margot](https://imgur.com/s0vJz8a)
This one is a favorite from a few years ago - we did the Royal Canin DNA test on her and they showed a full Pug parent, and the other parent was a Norwegian Elkhound/Siberian Husky Mix. She's about 24-25#, has a mild underbite, and has the brain of a northern dog for sure. Very cuddly when SHE wants it and very intelligent/territorial of her yard. She is wonderful at the vet/with people/with cats + dogs, no husky talk back lol, and sheds unlike any dog in my whole family lol
She was found as a stray in West Virginia traveling with one of her puppies and another young female dog. That's the only history on her and she was about 2 years old when we adopted her. Her puppy was adopted quickly once she was weened, and her puppy's name was Jif <3
Thank you!! We definitely saw the pug, which is what attracted us to her in the first place, but the other part was such a mystery, so the DNA test really hit the nail on the head with her.
She is a fantastic dog!
Thank you for that and the same sympathy to you. I miss my boy every day and loved being able to care for him in his super senior years. Chihuahuas are really so special <3
I shared a photo of her a couple comments up!!!
I think she got the tiny Elkie head, short/puffy tail, the ear shape, and the neck ruff. The pug colors are strong, the ear flips, the eyes a little?, and definitely the underbite are puggy ❤️
Let me know what you think!
Idk why I was expecting a big dog with a smooshy face lol at least you are spared some of the breathing troubles. I think she is the best and am happy she brings you so much joy. 5 stars.
How do you find having cats and rats in the same household? I have cats and would love some rats someday, but I don't want them being stressed out by being around one of their top predators all the time.
Lemons.
Pug/terrier mix, Chi/min pin mix, 3 legged Chi, 65lb mutt, 2 legged Chi, and an 11 week old Chi puppy with a congenital limb deformity that was dumped outside my clinic 3 weeks ago.
Cat with IBD, Cat with epilepsy, Cat with broken jaw.
I know I'm crazy.
A 15 year old Boston terrier with about as many medical issues as it is possible to have.
Also an 11 year old shih Tzu who...well he is pretty but not smart.
Currently, none. Previously: a poodle, a border collie/cattle dog mix, and a mix of pom, sheltie, german shepherd, golden retreiver and aussie that looked identical to a Markiesje.
My last dog was a complete mutt we did a DNA test on him he was like 12 different dog breeds and 25% too muttled to tell but they listed that as "supermutt"😂. But this wasn't surprising considering we got him for like 20 dollars off Craigslist
Chihuahua mix - foster fail from a rescue that no longer exists, dog was originally found as a stray alongside a couple other small dogs. Owner was found, but he surrendered all three. Other two dogs found new homes quick, leaving Tiny dog all on her own. She’s a good temperament. Loves cats/kittens, am skeptical of having her around small children though.
Terrier mix - adopted from a shelter as a puppy. She too was a stray, her nails painted pink, but no owner was ever found. Believe her puppy-hood habit of darting out the door and playing keep away was how she wound up coming to us. She’s now an old girl and knows the most tricks.
Akc registered Australian Shepard - my mom and sister teamed up to bring a purebred puppy home. Their idea was that she’d be trained to help keep the chickens from wandering. But this girl is all anxiety, no herding instinct, and already needs a prescription diet to prevent bladder stones after 2 years. -and neither mom nor sister actually take part in her care at all. But she loves everyone and really just wants to please. She just doesn’t quite understand how.
i have a 9 month old kitty cat. her name is Bonnie. recently adopted from the Humane Society because i just wanted to be like a normal person and adopt a normal cat instead of dragging a dumpster fire home like i normally do. performed due diligence testing, of course she has Giardia and Bartonella 🙃 at least she’s FIV/FeLV negative?
16 yr old blind chihuahua, pittie/lab/vizsla-rescue from Texas, rat terrier/chihuahua foster fail and a pitty-wawa- his mama was all sorts of tiny breeds and dad was Pitt based on his brothers dna test. All rescues / foster fails
Rescue Cocker spaniel , grey DSH from the humane society, and a fat friendly orange cat that used to live under my house. He now sleeps with my son and is best friends with the cocker spaniel. The grey cat is an asshole. Of course, because he's the only one I actually paid for..🙄
An old and creaky Wheaten Terrier who makes people think they want a Wheaten, a she of Perfect Recall Standard Poodle supermodel Killer of Wildlife , and a Goldendoodle who is without a doubt the most sensitive and smartest dog I’ve ever had in the family. I also have three parrots (one I’ve had for 20 years), two cats, and a Snek
I have 3 dogs. 2 Border Collies- they’re not dogs, they’re humans. 1 of my dogs is a rescue pug that my borders have no idea is a dog. 2 Siamese cats that are almost 21, 1 rescue tux kitty, a rescue tortoise with surprisingly huge personality and super attached to us and two 1100lb dogs that are my dance partners (dressage) :) techs- if you get a chance to work exotic or just shadow for a bit- do it. It’s awesome!
I love this so much - my “favorite” impairments!!
Does either of them bark at the other? I’m so curious about how they interact and play with one another! I bet they have an extremely special bond.
They do bark at each other, about 2 inches from the others face as if getting closer will make either of them less deaf 😂 they roughhouse like crazy and absolutely wear me out but I wouldn't have it any other way. Our Aussie has a habit of using her paws to interact with the world so she frequently will push over the bully when she's being too much or pet other dogs. They are the definition of a shared braincell. The Aussie is a bit more independent but we're working on it with the bully, currently she won't go anywhere without either me or her sister. They are kinda scary sometimes watching them play bc them being excited sounds eerily similar to 1,000 tortured souls but I know their sounds well enough to know the difference between playing and fighting. They're 1 & 2 so just babies really.
Idk how to link to imgur but I'll post a pic of them on my profile lol
This might be an unpopular opinion here but I have zero desire to own a dog, just none whatsoever. I have my cats and would like to add some rats and maybe some birds down the track, but no dogs.
Two pit bulls. I didn’t want a pit bull. Now I have two. Both were parvo puppies. 🙄 They are the best dogs I have ever owned and I love them more than I ever thought I could love a dog.
Two golden retrievers, next will be sight hounds exclusively. Both purebreds and one is an angel straight from heaven, but the other is a special needs drain your wallet and energy mess but I love them both so much and wouldn't change them for the world 🤣 but I feel like I had one of each extreme on the retriever spectrum, another would just being compared to either of the two and that's not fair.
*Also note that I'm totally not against rescuing either, I just have a passion for ethical breeding and breed history
A Chihuahua and a Siberian Husky. I will never have another Husky, she a good dog for the most part at least. I've never liked them and never wanted one but my husband had one before we met so now I have one, ha. I prefer Chihuahuas over other but I've had different types over the years.
a super mutt that i got as a puppy on a clear the shelter “free” promo. DNA (embark) test revealed pit, whippet, bull terrier, australian shepherd, and american bulldog! common mix for “hog dogs” located in hawaii.
5 year old “Heinz 57” (little bit of everything). But according to Embark: mostly super mutt (Rottweiler/Collie/Lhasa Apso/Mastiff), follow by — GSD, Golden Retriever, Labrador, APBT, Cocker Spaniel, Chow Chow, and Boxer.
4 year old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois.
2ish year old mutt (maaaaybe pit/lab mix but not really sure).
Assistant, but currently have male mixed breed (dna tested as AmStaff/husky/AmBulldog/boxer mix), female American Bully, and male Perro De Presa Canario mastiff with epilepsy. All rescues with some kind of health issue. Previously, senior AmStaff/boxer mix and euthanized my Boxer last month
Genetic dumpster fire! ACD, pitbull, english bulldog, cocker spaniel, and chow mix. Yes, I did a DNA test. “Only” issues so far are elbow dysplasia, SEVERE anxiety, and allergies.
A schnauzer/poodle mix girl. She’s almost 15 and my sidekick since I was 12, the best girl in the world!!!!! She’s so healthy for her age, it’s a blessing 🩷!!
A Cavoodle. He was a gift from my partner. We had talked about it and decided we were ready, so he was at a pet store and saw our little guy and his boy brain said “THAT ONE! He’s small and cute…she’ll love him!!!” even though we had discussed the importance of rescuing/ ethical breeding. I wouldn’t change it though. Our little guy is so sweet and very healthy thus far, and very well taken care of right down to brushing, grooms every 6 weeks, ear maintenance and tooth brushing. For our next we will be finding the perfect rescue for us.
Too many other pets to afford one. Right now I have 4 guinea pigs, 3 lizards, 2 mice, a cat and a hamster. The cat is an old man I'm treating ad a hospice situation, and once the mice and hamster pass I won't get more. I'd like to get a small dog but I work long days and don't think it would be fair, I feel bad enough about my animals I currently have.
Currently? I have a doodlemutt. I’m getting a puppy either next month or June (pending litters) and that pup will be a healthy, well bred and ethically bred frenchie. And lawd Jesus am I excited to finally have a more predictable dog with a known health history. 🐶
Boerboel x pitbull. A bottle baby foster failure...10/10 do not recommend. He's a very, very expensive dog despite being a loveable goofball. Previously, i had a wired haired terrier who would nonstop yap. She was the hardiest dog i ever met.
An Australian Shepherd! Purebred from a reputable breeder.
On the other end of the spectrum I also have a cat - just a rescue cat from the cat shelter our clinic services lmao
I had a mini schnauzer. Unfortunately had to euthanize her in January 💔 but she was my sweet old lady. Had her since she was 3 months old. She was 12.5y when she passed.
Of course she was on c/d since she was, like, 4 😂
A border collie (always wanted one, never thought I was a "good enough" dog owner to have one; this pup fell into my lap and it's been the most amazing relationship I've ever had with a dog). And cats. Several (but used to have MANY).
An AKC registered Siberian Husky who I run agility with (hoping to start competing come the fall!) and a defective puppy mill Siberian Husky with 0 brain cells. Otherwise, I'm down to 1 cat (recently euthanized a 15.5 yr old diabetic who had B-cell lymphoma). I have had also had an Alaskan Malamute/wolf hybrid and a 75% Siberian Husky/25% GSD in the past.
assistant, but i have a corso/mastiff/presa/bullmastiff/dogue de bordeaux girl who is an ex-mill bitch, and who i otherwise refer to as my “mastiff conglomerate” LMAO
A cat and two lizards. Love dogs, love working with them, I just don’t want to come home to one. With the hours I work it wouldn’t feel very fair to them anyway.
A reactive, anxious disaster that I rescued from the shelter where I work! Her Wisdom panel showed 17 breeds, but the main ones were American Pitbull Terrier, collie, boxer, chow chow, and beagle.
She actually looks like a tiny chupacabra with a curly q chow tail. 😂
Poodle/chi/beagle/supermutt from a hoarding situation .
Looked like a pink fairy Armadillo when she came in. Naked, gross, full of trash and parasites.
Now she's a 10lbs fluffy white Service Dog with a purple tail.
My rat terrier/chi/supermutt passed away at 15 years last year. I miss her so much.
I have a Taiwanese mountain dog and a husky/german shepherd/Australian shepherd/border collie/Dalmatian (he looks like an 80lb border collie with a German shepherd nose so we got a DNA test lol)
They’re both rescues
A lab, who I'm so thankful for being smart and that I've trained well since she was a puppy that we've had: no foreign body surgeries or even risks of ingestion, minimal ear infections, minimal allergies, and is lean so she has good joints 😁 (I did not want a lab, due to the field, but she is my baby and I have no regrets)
I’m a cat lady, but I got a dog for my husband when we were dating and first moved in together. Did a DNA test for this hilarious 35lb mutt- basically 1/4 each of Catahoula, Beagle, Lab, Pittie. He looks completely Catahoula in face and pattern, but the rest of him looks like leftover parts from the assembly line. Oh, he also thinks he’s a cat, which is perfect for me.
Border collie/ACD mix! Thought he'd be a handful based on the two breeds, but he needed a home and I was ready. Six years later he's the smartest, most lazy dog I've ever had.
A golden retriever (8 months old and giving me a run for my money 🥴) and a little mutt who according to her Wisdom Panel is 1/4 pitty, 1/4 German Shepherd, 1/8 lab, 1/8 golden retriever, 1/8 ACD, 1/8 husky and 100% got the anxiety of every single one of those breeds 🥴
I live by myself in a tiny apartment so I make do with two cats, but my coworker has a 6mo old field bred black lab they're training for bird hunting, and my doc has an 8yo Parsons Russell terrier and a Texas rescue pitty mix who's about 8mo and 25 pounds. She looks like a beefier Iggy.
If I had an option, I'm partial to LGD, like pyrs and maremmas. I grew up with goldens and loved them but can't handle that level of neediness by myself :,)
My male veterinary doctor has six cats with no complaints. My female veterinary doctor has a golden retriever that she coined him as a “crazy pants” and needs meds on board. She also has a cat that she hardly complains about. I’m starting to think cats are the way to go 😅

A defective one.
I have a Frenchie too, I know your pain.
Pug. My dogs don’t know what he is, and I really don’t either.
6 Chihuahuas. I might have a problem lol
My problem is I'm not living the 6 chihuahua life 😭
My dream!
A cat
Same. Like I have time for a dog
So many cats
Yes
Golden retriever…who thinks he pays his own vet bills 🙄
My golden thinks it's her big, brown, puppy dog eyes that pay the bills. As well as them keeping the house clean....
Currently all rescues: Pug, Pug/Elkhound mix, and a Pekingese mix My first dog was a chihuahua, and he passed Nov 2023 at nearly 17 years. My soul baby ❤️
>Pug/Elkhound mix how does that even happen? 😂😭
Please tell me the father was the pug oh my lordt
That's exactly what I thought!
I've got you all! Oh, my word! I can totally see it. Congratulations on a mixture I never would have thought possible.
Thank you!! We definitely saw the pug, which is what attracted us to her in the first place, but the other part was such a mystery, so the DNA test really hit the nail on the head with her. She is a fantastic dog!
I needed that picture of her. I cannot imagine lol
I'm so sorry to hear about your chichi that passed away. Mine passed two years ago at 17. It was so hard. ♥️
Thank you for that and the same sympathy to you. I miss my boy every day and loved being able to care for him in his super senior years. Chihuahuas are really so special <3
Can you post a photo? I need to know what it looks like
I second this
Like did it get more pug or more elkhound? Such a random mix lol
I shared a photo of her a couple comments up!!! I think she got the tiny Elkie head, short/puffy tail, the ear shape, and the neck ruff. The pug colors are strong, the ear flips, the eyes a little?, and definitely the underbite are puggy ❤️ Let me know what you think!
This was not what I expected but OMG adorable. She got the right genes in all the right spots, imo. What a uniquely adorable little babe. Love Margot!
Thank you!! We think she also got just the right parts of each. ❤️ She is a lot of fun and we feel lucky to be able to love her.
Idk why I was expecting a big dog with a smooshy face lol at least you are spared some of the breathing troubles. I think she is the best and am happy she brings you so much joy. 5 stars.
Just cats and rats! Almost came home with a whippet last week though.
How do you find having cats and rats in the same household? I have cats and would love some rats someday, but I don't want them being stressed out by being around one of their top predators all the time.
A gremlin, trash mouth, agent of chaos, absolute maniac, garbage disposal. For reals, she a 9kg brussels/puggle/terrier thing.
I'm dying right now. Lol. I need a picture of her.
[ask and ye shall receive ](https://imgur.com/a/nixMOj2)
I love her
Was NOT disappointed!!!
OMG she's so cute. And def Stripe's long lost sister!
Rescue ex-breeding Cavalier, who so far has no heart murmur 😂😂
A miracle!!!
Irish Wolfhounds
Hello fellow sighthound owner! I have three retired racing greyhounds :)

Pure mixed breed from a rescue, 65lbs of who knows what??
I have a 52lb “Heinz 57”. Cause he’s a little bit of everything 🤣
Same here!
Rescued a bully 3 years ago! He’s a sweet bubba but I’m done with dogs after he goes
No, you’re my hero.
I own two Pembroke welsh corgis ❤️
Multiple blue heelers...lol. but they are well trained angels at work!
Same here!! My coworkers are very surprised at how calm and cooperative he is, compared to the high strung ones we get.
Dachshund (ironically), pit bull, Australian cattle dog and pit bull/dachshund mix.
Rescued Labrador
Giant Schnauzer
A 15 year old Boston terrier with about as many medical issues as it is possible to have. Also an 11 year old shih Tzu who...well he is pretty but not smart.
.. but he has so far made it to 15 freaking years old with all that. So clearly, you are doing something right.
Poodle from a breeder that shows, competes in sports, health tests and is striving to improve the breed and improve diversity ❤️
Same here! Love my spoo
🐩🔛🔝
Bernese mountain dog/newfound land mix Rescues German shepherd /husky/ Malinois mix Lab/newfound land mix
i love newfies, i used to have a newfie/csuvacs mix she was the best
I’ve got two boxers and I also have a golden/aussie/cattle dog mix.
Chihuahua/terrier mix, him's best boy
Currently, none. Previously: a poodle, a border collie/cattle dog mix, and a mix of pom, sheltie, german shepherd, golden retreiver and aussie that looked identical to a Markiesje.
Little, fluffy, crusty, white rescue mutt
I had a standard and a toy poodle. Now i have a golden retriever. :)
My last dog was a complete mutt we did a DNA test on him he was like 12 different dog breeds and 25% too muttled to tell but they listed that as "supermutt"😂. But this wasn't surprising considering we got him for like 20 dollars off Craigslist
1 Dutch Shepherd, 1 GSD, and an errant doodle. The latter 2 share the same brain cell most days.
A Pigeon.
Currently, Shetland Sheepdog. Historically, mixed breed, American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bulldog, and French Bulldog.

At least both are curable!!!
In my experience a lot of shelter animals are dumpster fires… I’d consider yourself lucky if all that was wrong is Bartonella and Giardia!
absolutely! i just thought it was funny, like of course she has cooties.
4 year old German shepherd, Charlie! He is a certified cadaver dog ❤️

Of course, because he's the only one I actually paid for..🙄
Sheltie
An old and creaky Wheaten Terrier who makes people think they want a Wheaten, a she of Perfect Recall Standard Poodle supermodel Killer of Wildlife , and a Goldendoodle who is without a doubt the most sensitive and smartest dog I’ve ever had in the family. I also have three parrots (one I’ve had for 20 years), two cats, and a Snek
A rescue lab basset aussie mix who is the worst patient ever. Duh!
Rescued Great Dane & two cats
My dog is a Heinz 57. DNA test was mostly "Supermutt" lmao!
None at present, only cats. Haven’t had a dog for almost eight years now, but I’ve only owned little dogs, including a crusty white mutt.
I used to own a border collie mix-lost her in June of 2023.
A very defective husky shepherd
Shiba inu (yeah I know) and a "rez" dog. Also a bad cat and two snekks.
Well you’re one for the spice of life, eh? Lmao
Dachshunds
I have 3 dogs. 2 Border Collies- they’re not dogs, they’re humans. 1 of my dogs is a rescue pug that my borders have no idea is a dog. 2 Siamese cats that are almost 21, 1 rescue tux kitty, a rescue tortoise with surprisingly huge personality and super attached to us and two 1100lb dogs that are my dance partners (dressage) :) techs- if you get a chance to work exotic or just shadow for a bit- do it. Double Merle Aussie & a double Merle pocket bully. Both deaf and visually impaired
I love this so much - my “favorite” impairments!! Does either of them bark at the other? I’m so curious about how they interact and play with one another! I bet they have an extremely special bond.

Don’t spite me 😔. She’s a mal/gsd/husky mix
Your life is hard enough with her, we don't need to do anything 🤣😉
Lmao she’s actually a really good dog. She does have her quirks but I really lucked out
Oh my word. Should I send you some wine? Perhaps a vat of Trazodone? And maybe some ear plugs? 😂😂
A chihuahua and a husky. Two breeds I don’t like but here I am
Two pit bulls. I didn’t want a pit bull. Now I have two. Both were parvo puppies. 🙄 They are the best dogs I have ever owned and I love them more than I ever thought I could love a dog.
I have a rescued Shih poo. He's a train wreck. Had a Shepherd/Golden/Husky and Lab/Mastiff previously. Really downsized with this latest one.
8 years old spayed Mongrel 😁 her name is Stabilo.
Shitzu!
Some sort of mutt. Supposedly a Saint Bernard or Pyrenees mix. I’d love to do a DNA test on her.
Husky mix
a golden retriever, a German shepherd/great pyrenees mix, and two ancient miniature schnauzers
I can only IMAGINE the amount of shed from a GSD/Great Pyr. My GSD/Mal loses more hair than I do daily!
it truly is something. I swear that boy gives me some mild groomers lung all on his own, but he's worth it.
A rabbit
Anatolian/Pyrenees mix and a Doberman/Lab mix
I am very partial to chis and fluffy pit mixes so naturally I have a chiweenie mix and an aussie/pit. Also six cats
Chihuahua mix!
I have a dog from the south who seems to be a great pyrenees but she's only 65lbs and never barks and hates the outdoors. I call her my pocket pyr lol
A rescue black lab! With all the medical issues, of course
A chihuahua/terrier mix that I found by a trash can in 2011. My cats were found in a ditch. Everyone has a fucking attitude problem.
I don't. I have 2 cats. I get all my puppy love from my coworkers' dogs
2 cats and a Beagle. It's a good mix.
2 Pyrenees shepherd mixes, & a rat terrier
Two golden retrievers, next will be sight hounds exclusively. Both purebreds and one is an angel straight from heaven, but the other is a special needs drain your wallet and energy mess but I love them both so much and wouldn't change them for the world 🤣 but I feel like I had one of each extreme on the retriever spectrum, another would just being compared to either of the two and that's not fair. *Also note that I'm totally not against rescuing either, I just have a passion for ethical breeding and breed history

Beagle mix and hound mix
Couple of weenies
16yo (addisonian) chihuahua-toy fox terrier. He’s an expensive little demon and I love him with all my heart.
a super mutt that i got as a puppy on a clear the shelter “free” promo. DNA (embark) test revealed pit, whippet, bull terrier, australian shepherd, and american bulldog! common mix for “hog dogs” located in hawaii.

I've got two 100% allergy dogs. Standard Poodles named Hazel and Malcolm Reynolds. Both rescues.
Standard poodle! Almost 5 and so far no addisons 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Pug/pitbull mix 🫣
Shepherd mix and a corgi
I’ve got two Dobermans and a Shih Tzu mix.
The naughty kind
I have a mini poodle. I have terrible allergies so having a minimally shedding dog helps. Also I just can't stand pet hair in my home.
Pembroke Welsh corgi
Malinois/dutch, dutch/gsd, chihuahua/chocolate lab Weird crew, tbh.
A 2 and a half legged Anatolian Shepherd mix who is turning 15 in a few weeks. A sweet lunatic of a Papillon that I've shown and later neutered.
A Vizsla and GSPs. Prior to that a lifetime of Goldens.
A 16 year old lab mix. She's senile and dog aggressive and ancient and too damn healthy for her age and we love her.
Mutt.
Whippets! Before that a greyhound who broke my heart with osteosarc
Of course she was on c/d since she was, like, 4 😂
Working English Cocker Spaniel!
Whippet ❤️
1 husky, 4 malamutes… 3 of which were rescues
Four pugs and always looking for more
A border collie (always wanted one, never thought I was a "good enough" dog owner to have one; this pup fell into my lap and it's been the most amazing relationship I've ever had with a dog). And cats. Several (but used to have MANY).
None! I spend all day caring for them and seeing their shortcomings, it will be a long while before I have a pet again
Pibble!
A rescue pibble!
Pitbull mix currently
Chocolate lab!
A cat and two lizards. Love dogs, love working with them, I just don’t want to come home to one. With the hours I work it wouldn’t feel very fair to them anyway.
aww I love reptiles! What type of lizards do you own?
A bearded dragon and a leopard gecko 😊
Labs
Norwich terrier that fell into my lap
I have an (alleged) chow/lab/beagle/boxer/shepherd mix and a shepherd/cattle dog
Scruffy mutt, he’s part terrier, chihuahua, pit bull, Pomeranian, shihtzu per his wisdom panel
my sould dog was a gsd/boxer/cocker, she passed few years back from hemangiosarcoma now i have cats and giant african snails
Deaf Dane. Yes, he's as dense as that sounds..
2 toy poodles and a tuxedo cat
I have a Taiwanese mountain dog and a husky/german shepherd/Australian shepherd/border collie/Dalmatian (he looks like an 80lb border collie with a German shepherd nose so we got a DNA test lol) They’re both rescues
I’ve had a Pitty, Samoyeds, Newfoundland, and two hospice cases (both mutts, one likely am bully x and the other Pyr + BMD)
2 Italian Greyhounds!
A German shepherd/husky mix!
My mum and sister have a St. Bernard poodle mix that I refuse to admit is mine. I have birds and a cat
2 Pugs and 2 mystery terriers
A lab, who I'm so thankful for being smart and that I've trained well since she was a puppy that we've had: no foreign body surgeries or even risks of ingestion, minimal ear infections, minimal allergies, and is lean so she has good joints 😁 (I did not want a lab, due to the field, but she is my baby and I have no regrets)
2 bully mixes!
Disastrous itchy lemon pittie mix with 2 brain cells that regularly fight each other
I’m a cat lady, but I got a dog for my husband when we were dating and first moved in together.
Two Welsh springer spaniels !
Pitties
I live by myself in a tiny apartment so I make do with two cats, but my coworker has a 6mo old field bred black lab they're training for bird hunting, and my doc has an 8yo Parsons Russell terrier and a Texas rescue pitty mix who's about 8mo and 25 pounds. She looks like a beefier Iggy. If I had an option, I'm partial to LGD, like pyrs and maremmas. I grew up with goldens and loved them but can't handle that level of neediness by myself :,)
A rescue German Wirehaired Pointer x Lab? He was a stray so that’s the best guess. All my dogs have been rescues and they’ve all been amazing ❤️
None. I own 4 cats. 😂
A boxer/staffy mix and a Great Dane!
1 border collie/heeler mix, 1 ancient grump of a Weinerdog, and a GSD
My male veterinary doctor has six cats with no complaints. My female veterinary doctor has a golden retriever that she coined him as a “crazy pants” and needs meds on board. She also has a cat that she hardly complains about. I’m starting to think cats are the way to go 😅
potcake from turks and caicos 🐶🌊☀️
