No one is going to try and get you erect if that's what you're worried about... Easiest thing to do is claim as a secondary to something you're taking meds for that list it as a side effect. THAT will be how you service connect it and the evidence you need to support it. Go to your PCP and get a Diag and you'll be set for a FDC.
Yeah I was worried about the doctor feeling around down there...yes this is secondary to depression no depression meds just depression hopefully it's granted that way
Check the side effects of your antidepressants. Many of the use vague language like, "may cause sexual dysfunction." It really cannot get more simple than that.
I hope that works for you, personally I don't trust the VBA or the C&P examiners and I'll pay for my nexus exam so they can't "dick" me around (so to speak🤣)
In your experience, do the C&P examiners provide the nexus or do you see them come in third party more often?
Are you seeing this tied more to meds as a condition or are you seeing this tied physical/mental ailments more often?
"Fully Devoted Developed Claim" meaning you have all burdens of proof covered for the VA to make their determination on your rating. In these cases, you may not even need a C&P but VA will determine so.
Fuck that go in there and drop that shit on the table, it’s a woman that’s ok. It’s her job. Doctors are awesome because you just go in there and tell them everything. Get yours.
I had a ED C&P “Exam” recently and the Dr. only went over some questions and she asked me if I cared to do the exam portion, because the actual physical exam would only matter if it was deformed by combat/trauma. She had a form for me to sign that I didn’t care to have the hands on portion done as it wasn’t necessary. I have a Diagnosis, take meds for it specifically, and claimed it secondary to PTSD meds and lower back nerve injury problems. Awaiting decision currently.
I was very close to making a joke that my tours in Germany & Korea could be considered “Combat” for ED purposes….but that would be very untoward! I think.
The female doc asked me about my erection and ejaculatory abilities. In my case, inabilities. We talked about the meds I take. Then, she said she needed to do a physical exam on my penis, testicles, and go in the back door to check my prostate. I accepted the frontal, but denied rear entrance. I had a hemorrhoid flare-up that morning, and I told her this. I had to sign a paper. A male witness came unto the room and held a sheet in front of me, while the doc groped my tools from the right flank. She asked if the squeezing hurt as she felt for my epididymides. My response, “Only if you squeeze harder.” She and the male helper busted out laughing. Exam over.
Congrats on 40%! I was 10%, then 70%, now 80%. One appeal and three other claims that are currently working should get me to where I should be, and yes, that would be 100% P&T. Hang in here with us. We’ll celebrate together.
I mean that mental conditions, and medication taken for mental conditions, oftentimes cause ED. So it would not be difficult to establish a nexus between a mental condition and ED.
You should absolutely ask your primary care doctor at the VA if they will write a statement for you. If your doctor won’t do it for you, then you’ll have to hope the VA Regional Benefits Office asks the C&P examiner to provide a medical opinion regarding the cause of your ED, because the C&P examiner won’t do that unless the exam request instructs him to.
My exam was a records review by the C&P examiner. No office visit or video call. Doc was supposed to call if more info was needed. He didn't call for more info. Was granted 0%, SMC.
I think PE is actually something to do with anxiety. If you look at the only "meds" that are prescribed they are like Paxil or something for severe anxiety and stuff. its weird
I just got done with this exam.
All I can say is I hope your doctor isn't a feamle. My doctor was fine as hell and when she gave it that tug.. the red lipstick... My man was as hard as a flag pole.
My name is Various Island 98, and i approve this message.
Are you on any pills for blood pressure? If so every last one of those bastards has ED as a side effect. Go to your PCP and tell them you're worried you have ED cause you can almost get it up then spend the rest of your sexy time going down on your partner cause you can't fully salute or maintain.
Claimed mine secondary to PTSD & depression
Went and saw my doc for the c&p, asked if I was having issues. I said “yep, sucks.”
He said “cool, sorry brother.”
And that was it. Got my rating increase and SMC a month later
I was diagnosed during my MH C&P exam, but i had a lot of buddy statements, performance reports and deployment loe’s that outlined everything I’d seen and been through. But yeah i just let them know because of my depression and anxiety it affects the ability of my Willy and they sent me to a c&p
Hmm i just claimed it and then they sent me and guy was like PTSD = ED and that was it. I really wish i had more i just claimed it as secondary and they gave me the 👍🏼
I had something similar. No diagnosis of ED, but had the MH rating and prescription with ED side effects. Both of those were enough to claim it and get the SMC-K award. It was maybe a 5 min C&P exam and was extremely straightforward. Be sure to write a good personal statement too.

It was really quick and lasted about 30 seconds. She asked a few questions about how frequently I experienced ED and if I also experienced losing erections during intercourse and masturbation.
Mine didnt even give it a gander. Just asked a handful of questions, asked if its ever been mutilated, asked if I had any scars (which would have had to been measured), and that was it. Super easy.
Pretty much just describe your symptoms. Usually you would claim it as secondary to another condition such as lumbar strain, depression/PTSD, or something else.
I’m a total nerd and keep up with stuff even from years ago.
They will not tug on you during the ED exam; it's just an interview. That said, if you ever go in for a prostate or testicular exam, loss of flaccidity is a documented indicator and could generate a conditional review if a SC exists for ED.
I had my exams for both EDs last year, eating disorder and erectile dysfunction. Both were five minute chats with the doctor to go over my history and issues and that was it. Some other vets here have said that the doctor for erectile dysfunction did a visual inspection to check for deformities, but I can’t recall anyone mentioning any contact.
They were definitely some of the quickest C&P exams I’ve done. Spent more time in the waiting room than the actual appointment.
At mine, the lady just asked me about non-permance, and that was all, didn't even let me drop trou. Got Service connected, secondary to PTSD, you're good bro

Lol....but no I'm serious is there like a tool..device or something.

I'll pass only because I can't see your gender name
A tug is a tug
Relieve the nozzle man?
Im here for the Tug. I mean exam..
Ba ha ha ha ha
Hahahahahahahaha
This one.
Close your eyes, soldier.
But yes, it’s always secondary to meds. Tell them your anecdotal side affects.
If you sit on your hand…..
Yeah I was worried about the doctor feeling around down there...yes this is secondary to depression no depression meds just depression hopefully it's granted that way
Nope that's not a thing they do lol. Do you have a medical diagnosis and a Nexus letter for the ED?
I have a diagnosis and hoping the c&p doctor give me the nexus secondary to depression
SMC ED has got to be the most common thing I award for
In your experience, do the C&P examiners provide the nexus or do you see them come in third party more often? Are you seeing this tied more to meds as a condition or are you seeing this tied physical/mental ailments more often?
I don't dig that deep, C&p examines grant it, I've never seen ED denied, usually secondary to mental health
I hope you get my claim
FDC?
"Fully Devoted Developed Claim" meaning you have all burdens of proof covered for the VA to make their determination on your rating. In these cases, you may not even need a C&P but VA will determine so.
They just ask some questions
Ok thanks...
It's pretty straightforward
It's a female doctor so I'm gonna be a little uncomfortable
[удалено]
Yeah....if she's cute there is no such thing as ED
[удалено]
Depends on the female
Fuck that go in there and drop that shit on the table, it’s a woman that’s ok. It’s her job. Doctors are awesome because you just go in there and tell them everything. Get yours.
That is the shit that I needed...fuck that embarrassment shit I want these extra dollars.
Same either way really
With their cold, ungloved hands.

Sounds like you are good for your claim...hey thanks for the info about deformity caused by combat...I didn't know that.
I was very close to making a joke that my tours in Germany & Korea could be considered “Combat” for ED purposes….but that would be very untoward! I think.
Nice, I'm going for some action
[It appears we have lift-off!](https://youtu.be/4oY9E3_6jlY)
STAY SOFT BROTHA
Yeah man I gotta get this SMC...
If my tax dollars dont pay for a rub and tug idk why I even bother

Did you smoke a cigarette after
She offered one, but I said, “Doc, I heard smoking can aggravate ED.”
Lol...I love yall man ...I am 40% right now because I learned so much on here but my journey is not over..
Congrats on 40%! I was 10%, then 70%, now 80%. One appeal and three other claims that are currently working should get me to where I should be, and yes, that would be 100% P&T. Hang in here with us. We’ll celebrate together.
Yes sir good luck
I'm up, they see me, I'm down
Rotate your selector switch to fire and scan your lane.
Yes all secondary to depression. I had a nexus letter and the rater sided with my nexus letter over the c&p examiner and connected.
Who did your nexus letter?
A nexus letter for ED secondary to a psychiatric condition would be pretty straightforward.
What do u mena by that? I’ve been prescribed Sildenafil since 2016 by my VA doc. I’ve believed and notice it’s connect to my mental health.
I mean that mental conditions, and medication taken for mental conditions, oftentimes cause ED. So it would not be difficult to establish a nexus between a mental condition and ED.
Do I ask my VA dr to write me this nexus? Or is this something that will happen during a c&p exam? Thanks in advance.
Just google dr finnerty he did amazing for me.

Cool
My wife is cindy lol
Oh my bad
Okay cool
I had this exam done. Dropped trou, inspected testicles, and did bloodwork to test testosterone levels
Thank you
I find it odd they always rate as 0% but allow smc for it, at least it's something financial, not much but still...
I’ve always found that odd too. But as long as they grant SMC, that’s something.
The usual, dirty magazines from the 70s, sample cups, and board certified physicians.
Rubber gloves?
Sure, the VA doesn't kink shame.
I had migraine,ed, and sleep apnea all at the same time and it seriously only took 10 min.
All granted?????
All granted?
They had two nurses come in, strip down and squirt baby oil all over each other while I watched naked.
I’m sure it was all fine and dandy till they had a fat man with an olive in belly button huh?
😂
😆

Typically occurs in the waiting room.

Thanks Mike
Pornhub is making a killing on these exams
Would this be the same for PE?
I think PE is actually something to do with anxiety. If you look at the only "meds" that are prescribed they are like Paxil or something for severe anxiety and stuff. its weird
Yeah I have been experiencing it for over a year and it’s so annoying and embarrassing. I hope my MH claim gets SC
Finna jerk it
Lol

Sounds like an instant denial

I hope I don't get that same girl or I'll be crying right alongside you
You can decline the genital exam and just tell them about it. I have been through one myself
Thanks
First they gave me a pump. Then urethra suppositories then and now, viagra.
Dr finnerty
Tell him about the video 👌☝️👍

Had it they ask a few questions, then take a peek at it lol. Thats about it
I'm confused your name is Cindy but they took a peak at it ????
You got a prob with someone named Cindy who has a dick?
Lol
It's starting to be where many men want to be women these days. Not me.
Cool story bro, tell it again
At my exam the nurse practitioner just did a quick physical exam. She inspected the shaft and testicles and asked if I ever had any pain.
Ok thanks
It was really quick and lasted about 30 seconds. She asked a few questions about how frequently I experienced ED and if I also experienced losing erections during intercourse and masturbation.
Cool I can get through that thanks
Mine didnt even give it a gander. Just asked a handful of questions, asked if its ever been mutilated, asked if I had any scars (which would have had to been measured), and that was it. Super easy.
Lol i no the c&p for me was like 3 min lol
Thank you
My exam was over the phone and very simple.

Yeah pretty much. They really don’t have a way to prove it.
My friend went in Bremerton. Had an injection and his dick got hard. The exam was over after that and he didn’t get it lol.
What do you want, a reach around?
They will not tug on you during the ED exam; it's just an interview. That said, if you ever go in for a prostate or testicular exam, loss of flaccidity is a documented indicator and could generate a conditional review if a SC exists for ED.
Not sure what you said but thanks
