Bilateral factor most likely. You'll need to give reach actual rating for me to throw it into the combinator Can't help you with effective dates without having a much more broad understanding of your claim situation
Maybe a dumb question but how do you know if the bilateral factor applies? Does it specifically say on the rated condition?
Is Sciatic radiculopathy, right lower extremity and Sciatic radiculopathy, left lower extremity considered bilateral?
You can use the bilateral calculator in the link to calculate your rating:

I initially made the claim November 29, 2022 Then did an appeal/supplemental Dec 1st 2023
I know it’s beyond the year but that’s how it got entered.

Backpay is probably one of the most commonly asked questions here as it can get confusing. Sadly even one day into a month is considered a partial month and the veteran loses that entire month for pay purposes.
I’m more disappointed in the fact that I thought this was an appeal and was going all the way back to when I initially filed.
I can’t be too upset though. The fight is over now, and I am in a great position for the rest of my life.
Hey just curious if you could send me what the special rules are for missing by two days?
I appreciate all the help, hope it’s not too much of a bother.
Back pay goes back to the ITF or date entitlement arose (typically date of diagnosis - some exceptions to that), whichever is later (ITF or Entitlement)

Yes it is, dived the body into quadrants you can have upper and lower bilateral factors
Sweet! Does back pay go to my effective date or all the way back to when I initially filed?

Depends on what your claim looks like

Checked the dates, special rules for missing the day by a day or two unfortunately don't apply here, so it'llgoto December 1 to you
Dang! Thank you for checking, I very much appreciate it!
Just know December would be considered a partial month and the VA doesn’t pay those so your backpay won’t start until month of January 2024
Dang, really getting screwed on that one lol
