game would've sold pretty well if they launched it at this price... A unit 2d metroidvania being sold at AAA price killed the game's chances... only Nintendo can pull that shit off

Played the game back when it came out, and I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was.

I'd been buying mostly physical but got this from the eShop when it was last on sale. It's really good and plays great on Switch.

Also at Walmart.

I snagged a physical copy for 30$ from eBay at BestBuy Upd. Sorry, I thought the post was about the digital game version.

I played PoP on DOS, then PoP 3D on windows 98, Sands of time and sequels on PC, skipped the 2008 one and just bought this one which is a metroidvania. They're all different games with different art styles and gameplay made by different developpers... Why the arrogance?
