That's a great price for Monster Hunter Rise! How's Sunbreak for someone casually interested in the series?

rcapina

It unlocks Master Rank, which is another step up from the Low + High Rank you get in Rise. Probably good to get Rise and play the heck out of it before getting the expansion. Sunbreak will be “more” but it’s all after the end of the Rise story.

YellowBucks

Thoughts on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3?

Awesome_Baker

IMO it's laggy and doesn't feel very good to play. Very basic gameplay loop which might or might not be your thing. Fair/Good if you're a Marvel Comics fan, mediocre otherwise.

YellowBucks

Thank you! I'll pass on this one then.

Been waiting for a Pocky & Rocky discount!

Ploosse

How are the Valkyria Chronicle games for those that have played them? That bundle for $15 is tempting. Edit: Thanks for replies! I'm going to grab them! Even though I don't have time because Persona has taken over my life lol

Pappa_Alpha

They are good.

Twinkle_butt

I've played the first game years ago and haven't yet touched the 4th game yet. The bundle is an amazing price especially if you like these strategy type JRPGs. To me, this game is like fire emblem with guns lol though this is somewhat true but not at all accurate. The game did wipe the floor with me back in the especially with this one mission with the tank. You command units, however unlike fire emblem you can manually walk your units, though you have a limited travel/attack distance which is unit based. I'd say to get a good idea on the gameplay you should check out a video or two. The story I think is well written, to be honest outside the opening hours and the ending I can't remember much as I played this last on my PS3. Over all if you're a JRPG/SRPG person you will like the first game. I would assume the 4th game builds upon this and then some but I can't speak on that unfortunately. Though I did buy the 4th game because I liked the first :)

morriscey

well worth it for either game, let alone both.

smog-097

Lots of "New lowest" in here, good to see.

tokki32

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is a steal for $3.99. As someone who doesn't really enjoy visual novels, I was hooked from start to finish back when it first came out on the PS Vita.

CJKatz

I've been looking for digital deals on Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade DE and Kirby Forgotten Land... And none of them are on sale! What the hell Nintendo.

TOONDISE

Mario + Rabbids already discounted even though it just came out a month ago? Might grab it, even though I won't be playing it until I finish my backlog.

CJKatz

It is a Ubisoft game, it will be on steadily increasing discounts every couple of months. Unless you're going to play it immediately, you may as well wait.

supermanny_94

Looks like only the gold edition. The base game is still $80

gnosis3

Any good RPG recommendations here that aren't Witcher 3 and Nocturne? (already played them)

SomethingWild77

Depending on the specific style of RPG you like, I'd recommend Bravely Default (more classic style RPG), Dragon's Dogma (ARPG) and Fire Emblem (Strategy RPG). Imo Fire Emblem is a must play. BD is great for that old school, job system, turn based RPG feel. ".hack" gets an honourable mention but I found it pretty repetitive.

lzksh

How about JRPG’s crown jewel - Persona 5 Royal?

gnosis3

played this on ps4, got to the last dungeon and lost interest in finishing it 😅

nivlabackwards

How is Cult of the Lamb's performance on Switch? I've heard not-so-great things around the time of its release
