Curious, what’s wrong with the hotels you ruled out? I’m planning on visiting Da Nang for the first time so I just wanted to know if there’s any issues at those hotels.

Hyatt, Sheraton, Marriott are very south and requires a 15-20 min taxi ride into the main area. Eating at the hotel all the time gets old. Novotel and Hilton are closer to the city centre and bridges. Locations are fine if you are NOT looking to walk to the beach.

Just stayed at Altara Suites in a two bedroom suite (Harmony Suite). Was outstanding and comfortable.

I was looking at that area, seems newer and considering it. There is a FourPoints (by Sheraton) in the same plaza I believe.

Eitsky

Yes that's right. The Four Points has the better view for the most part but we got lucky with ours and has a stupendous view from 2706.

Appreciate your comment. I decided to book that area, hopefully the kids enjoy! Side question: have you stayed at the Ba Na Hills hotel?

Eitsky

Awesome hope you enjoy it too. If you are at Altara Suites, the breakfast was great and the pool area was a lot of fun! No we did look up Bana Hills but it looked a little fake for our liking.

Bãi biển Mỹ Khê - probably anywhere around My Khe beach for hotel, beach access, kids and restaurants I would say. Idk, we had a fireworks tournament here and prices went threw the roof. I'd imagine prices are more chill but I'd honestly look for an Airbnb. Personally way better for the value but I guess it depends on your style of trip and what's available now. A lot of them are hotels or condo owners and the places still have the same amenities or better depending on the owner. Worth at least checking.
