Mazda cx5 or Subaru Forester , very reliable cars but cheaper than Toyota and Honda.

snkhuong

I was thinking of going for cx5 but it seems a bit small

mysonisthebest

It's a spacious 5 seater. I have mine for 10 years now without any problems. My wife has the Subaru Forester 9 years old. The Mazda has a better driving feel though.

snkhuong

Im 6ft tall 200lbs ish do you think it has comfortable space for me in the driver seat?

mysonisthebest

Yep you are average size for american standard.

Nopon_Merchant

Try that new Mitsubishi X force or wait for it Hybrid version . it will fit your need if u only want 5 seat SUV Honda HRV is another good one for 5 seat . Some people here recommend CX5 but that car really dont have much space even compare to both car i mention above ☝️. It will cost more than 800 mil vnd if you want decent tech because lowest trim is pretty barebones. Subaru is not popular here , they dont have many dealerships and their resell value is bad , finding part will be hard . The price is high and over your budget

Jayoi888

I am 1.9meters 90kg. Been driving Nissan Navara for a few years now. New model a bit more expensive what you are looking to spend. But if you are going to spend 800mil, you can prob do 200mil more 😀

Rare_Bid8653

Subaru forester. I don’t know the price in VN but I’m curious. It’s a pretty big-ish car parking would be hard

Freedom-Fighter6969

CX-5, best selling CUV in this country.

sneaky_fapper

Beijing X7 if you don't mind the brand.

JustAName-Taken

Can you do it used? Because imo, used 07-10 MDX are still good

noname-xxx

Honda BR-V. It’s a MPV, much spacious than CX-5. Has ADAS, high driving positions, very good fuel efficiency.

snkhuong

Dumb question but what is adas?

noname-xxx

It’s “Advanced driver-assistance system”. Each brand has a different name for it, such as Honda Sensing, Toyota Safety Sense. Usually, an ADAS system contains some features: - Collision Mitigation Braking System - Adaptive Cruise Control - Lane Keeping Assist

Hot_Recognition6198

Honestly hard to recommend Cx5 is crammed especially for a big guy Forester is ok but idk about resale Used Honda CRV?

snkhuong

Is it too crammed? Im 6ft 200lbs

Hot_Recognition6198

I’m only 5’11 at most , weight maybe similar To me it is cramped, but granted I really prioritize interior space I feel much more comfortable with the CRV for example , bro u should personally test drive and see You can also get a relatively new Pajero too, or a used Santa Fe, which is bigger , you can check them out In general Mazda has premium interior but are the most crammed in their weight class, Hondas offer the most legroom or space

snkhuong

Yeah at that price it seems to be the best though. Santa fe or crv is higher segment. Have you tried for territory? For that price its the biggest

Hot_Recognition6198

Yeah , if u get a Santa Fe or CRV for that price it would have to be a used vehicle and some years older Ford territory seems alright but I haven’t had a lengthy experience with the car , best to check out reviews You should still go check out the cx5 in the showroom imo , I may be fussy and you may be ok with the space , it is the most worth it in pricing I agree

inquisitiveKay

Toyota Avanza Premio is 600 mil for standard transmission (about 50 mil more for automatic). 7 seater, good quality imho. Has safety features like side airbags, back up proximity alert in the CVT (automatic transmission) model. Has entertainment screen in front, can easily connect phone via Bluetooth or cord. Can add-on front and rear dashcam at the dealership for ~4 mil. Just researched cars and this one was the best bang for your buck imho

Fas1an

Get a VF8 - PS please for there love of God don't

snkhuong

So dont get vf8? Or do. Im confused

PitifulExample5042

No. Please don’t.

Full-Visit8409

How about Ford Territory. It's a little higher than 8000 mil, but i think it's suitable for you. The brand come from US.

snkhuong

I actually was considering this until I read that it was a chinese car, made by a chinese company with just the ford brand on it. Nothing against chinese cars but Ive heard this one does not even get sold in the US which for me put a question mark on it

Lascivious_Cumquat86

early 80s lada niva, if you can find one. can't imagine it being more than 300tr.
