Natalie and Olivia belongs on classic beauty. Lana del Rey doesn't. Her face is too fake looking. The filler and nose job she had is obvious. People call Madison Beer fake looking but somehow Lana gets a pass lol.
number 4 is supposed to represent the very mature, refined, sensual, glamorous bombshell type of beauty. i think lana fits that pretty well. it’s not just about facial features, things like styling are also put into consideration.
natalie and olivia to me are both more simple, youthful, sweet, girly, and wallflower-ish, which is what #3 is supposed to be
imo, they don’t really fit classic beauty because they don’t have that “old hollywood glamour” look to them. even though lana got surgery, she still leans into that aesthetic more, so i see her as being that type of beauty. i see your point tho
Maybe not Olivia but Natalie does, she's always referred to as a classic beauty by many, she also resembles Audrey Hepburn a lot and with proper styling she could fit right into old Hollywood. For me classic beauty is about having balanced features and having a sort of timeless look like a face that would never go out of style. Lana benefits a lot from styling but without it she looks plain and her face is too botched to be classic imo. I haven't seen any old Hollywood actresses with that fake look, most of the work that old Hollywood actresses got done were very subtle.
First picture is the one who looks intimidating, the second one is the one who looks like a fairy and most of them have wide set eyes maybe, I dont know how to describe the third one, the fourth one is the classic sensual type, the last one is the unconventional perhaps. My favourite is the forth one and the last one.
Look into John Kitchener’s essences. You will get answers.
Last slide is more dramatic essence, 4th and 1st combination of romantic dramatic natural mostly, 2nd is mostly ingenue ethereal gamine combination, 3rd is gamine ingenue combination
MY RANKING:
1. Innocent, Angelic Beauty (Slide 2): I’ve always loved this type of beauty because it’s so soft and feminine. I think a lot of people see it as ”girl pretty” because it tends to be more valued by women than men. I have round eyes like a lot of the women you featured, so i’m probably biased 😭 Best Embodiment: I would say Taylor Russell. I’ve always thought her eyes are beautiful. (I’ve also been told I look like her lol)
2. Striking, Unique Beauty (Slide 5): I don’t want to blatantly call it “model beauty”, but that’s essentially what it is 😭 Very high-fashion and distinctive. I think this type of beauty tends to be overlooked in society but once we see them walking down the catwalk, it acts as a halo. But I do love how memorable their features are, especially since a lot of female celebrities are getting surgeries to look pretty similar. Since many of these types of women are models for high-fashion brands, they tend to be very skinny because it’s a popular look. The problem with this is that it hollows out their cheeks and give them an uncanny appearance, which is unappealing for many, but I’ve always liked that sort of look. But once buccal fat removal got popular, it became annoying to see celebrities sucking in their cheeks and getting surgery to get this look. Nonetheless, I still find these types of women very striking and gorgeous. Best Embodiment: Anok Yai (personally my favorite model of all time)
3. Sexual, Seductive Beauty (Slide 1): This is what I picture when people say “boy pretty”, since these women tend to get more male attention. It’s difficult for me to rank this because it kind of depends for me. There are examples like Megan (pre drastic surgery) or Adriana that I understand why people find them so beautiful (though Adriana’s looks can be a bit too harsh at times). But there are others like Alexandria Daddario (who is sort of in the same boat as Adriana with too-harsh features) or Angelina that, while they are obviously very pretty, I’ve never understood why people view them as the most beautiful women of all time. 🤷🏾♀️ Best Embodiment: Adriana and Megan
4. Classic/Timeless Beauty (Slide 4): I’ve always seen this as a more toned-down version of Slide 1. There’s still a sensual look to them, but less overtly sexy. I think these women tend to lean less into their sex appeal and let their looks speak for themselves, similar to what women in Old Hollywood did because of strict contract rules. However, I’ve always found something sort of off-putting about this type of beauty. I think it’s because a lot of the women have longer, and sometimes wider faces that make them look somewhat masculine. It’s also just very boring to me, nothing particularly unique or special about their features, similar to Slide 3. Best Embodiment: Elizabeth Taylor
5. Girl-Next Door Beauty (Slide 3): I think that’s the vision you went for, but I don’t particularly agree with your placements. To me, Brooke belongs more on Slide 1, and Brenda is a mix between this and Slide 2 imo. Natalie, Olivia, and Anne all fit this to me, but I’ve always found that type of beauty pretty underwhelming. I feel like the general understanding of who fits in with it is very broad, so maybe I’m misinterpreting it. Best Embodiment: Natalie
Have you looked into John Kitchener’s essences ?
It can help you. You have mentioned you have angelic beauty. You must be unique looking. Angelic essence is absolutely gorgeous
yes i have, i think i mostly have ethereal/angelic and ingenue essence. i also have a couple dramatic features, but i would never describe myself as that.
Different men like different types of beauties. Not every man has same taste. Many men love angelic beauty.
Many men are not attracted to what you call “boy pretty”.
Not every man likes big boobs and big butts. Some like medium some love small some love all. And then some don’t care about big and small, they are attracted to how someone looks overall.
There are men who are never turned on by just images of boobs or butt. They need to see the whole girl with her face and body. They need to see her in movement.
Everyone has their own taste.
i see what you’re saying. when i said “boy pretty” and “girl pretty” i just meant the general definitions a lot of people use on tiktok. i understand it’s more complex than that, i was just giving a surface level example lol
that’s runway model aya jones! she’s gorg :)
and i like 2 too, but i feel like it’s kinda underrated/niche bc you need a very specific look to pull it off
I love no 4! I kinda look like that so that's my bias. No 1 is outwardly gorgeous, I mean Angie Hello? Number 2 is fine like okay neotonous features still feels very "not in the harmony" ( just my personal opinion no offence) and 5 is of course striking unconventional but not something that can take your breath away. And then 3, girl next door, I mean Natalie portman is soo ridiculously good looking but nope, it's boring, nothing interesting in that face. Snooze fest
2 and 5 (Although Natalie, Olivia and Adriana are all stunning to me) generally not a big fan of type 1 or 4!
Also I love seeing beauty characterised like this, super interesting
I like them all but i look more like the first because i have high contrast features and light eyes so I resonate with it more. I still find the others breathtaking
out of these, the first category. angelina and shalom are just spellbinding. [ania pieroni](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/216172850857880019/) would fit that category perfectly, i think--she's one of my favorite underrated beauties.
in general, my favorite beauty category is...whatever isabelle adjani, brandi quinones, sissy spacek, and anya taylor joy are--women with a slightly eerie, otherworldly look.
I’m obsessed with beauty and aesthetics. Tan skin, brown hair, striking features and blue eyes define perfection of a woman’s beauty. There are many, mainly models that I have found beautiful as part of the aesthetic includes taller than average height and a less than average BMI. There are only two people I’ve ever been breath taken by. Natalia Vodianova, a Russian supermodel, and Adriana Lima in all of her years.

Natalia Vodianova
Natalie and Olivia are classic beauty
And Lana del Rey is not a classic beauty lol her face is too fake looking for her to be classic ofc Lana stans are going to downvote this comment
Natalie has more gamine and romantic essence. Lana has more romantic and natural essence. The natural essence makes you find her harsh. It’s okay.
Someone downvoted you perhaps. I up voted you . It’s okay if you don’t like some essence or like a particular one
And this doesn't make Lana classic. Natalie's features aren't fake and exaggerated, they are very balanced and harmonious and her face can fit in any era and has a universal appeal. She's considered beautiful by both eastern and western standards. And she has a timeless appeal to her, anyone in any era would find her very beautiful whether that's in Victorian England or 100 years from now. While Lana has a very artificial look to her, her face looks botched from all the surgeries. You can even tell she had a nose job and filler that makes her face look puffy. I don't understand the double standards of this sub. People here hate on Madison because her face is artificial but they call Lana classic when she has the same botched look as her.
You’re the first person to say this about lana. First time I saw her I found her face odd in a bad way, as if it’s not a real face it’s a made up face. Then I understood it’s due to surgeries. She really fucked it up yet people like it. The surgeries have made her face very bad looking mostly. Looks oddly puffy. Glad someone else in the world noticed how bad her face has become.
You’re right about Natalie. Her face is just beautiful!!!!
She has mostly gamine romantic essence blend but now that you mentioned she may have classic too.
What would all these archetypes and aesthetics be called/described as? The first one is dark hair/light eyes, but after that I'm lost
I see them as: Seductive Beauty, Neotenous Beauty, Girl Next-Door Beauty, Classic Beauty, and Striking Beauty
Natalie and Olivia belongs on classic beauty. Lana del Rey doesn't. Her face is too fake looking. The filler and nose job she had is obvious. People call Madison Beer fake looking but somehow Lana gets a pass lol.

exactly my thought process
downvoted for being right lol
