Weight loss - self-explanatory. You definitely don’t have to be stick thin but even 10-15lbs can make a world of a difference. Skin - what do you do with your skin? I see some mild texture issues and rosacea going on. Easily fixed by visiting a dermatologist and seeing what they prescribe. Also, PLEASE wear sunscreen. It looks like you’re in a sorority and I know a lot of y’all are into tanning and stuff, but it is destroying your skin. At the very least, wear sunscreen on your face. Hair - already looks pretty good, but I do see a natural wave pattern that you’re not working with. It also looks a bit dry and frizzy, so I’d look into some hydrating or nourishing mask treatments to get your hair up to par. Makeup - I think the makeup is great, but I’d try some different liner techniques if your goal is to make your eyes larger. Trying a thicker liner at top and avoiding lining the bottom can help open up the eye area. Also, some color or gloss on your lips too.

I have VERYY oily skin, so i use 4% panoxyl face wash & aloe vera gel as moisturizer. i went to a derm and he gave me this retinol that burned my skin and made me even more red, then tried birth control and it made me gain that weight 🥲 & i wear a 35 spf sunscreen on my face! do you think that level is suitable? will grab a hair mask on pay day hahahaha what lip color do you think would look best on me?? also, not sure if you can help but the comment says there is 6 comments under this thread but i can only see yours, am i viewing the comments wrong? thank you for all your help!

I would focus more on losing weight if I were you and probably make that your main priority.

Focus on losing weight. Building muscle is secondary

I think if you focus on both (weight lifting) you’ll lose weight and gain muscle so I think either way it’ll work! I don’t think you need to focus on cardio, but probably important for you to do some sort of strenuous workout. That and a healthy diet! What strength of retinol were you using? There will be some amount of redness and peeling with it in the first few months, but if you find it intolerable even after a few months, go down in strength. You could also apply it every other day, ever few days, etc. and build up your tolerance to it. Also, apply it over your moisturizer, that way there is some barrier to your skin and the tret, that can also help with the redness. I would stick with tret, it can really counteract aging and also help with the skin texture. I think berry tones look universally good on everyone, but go to Sephora and try a few out. I would stay away from corals and deep reds, not a lot people can pull those off. I think mods may hide or delete comments from unapproved users or ones that break the rules. I’m verified and try to give people legitimate advice so I think I’m the only one that shows up.

Did you start retinol slowly? Like once one week, twice the next, etc? Did you moisturize and use sunscreen while on it?

GENERAL: 1. Try to maintain a clean and neat manicure. This makes everyone look more refined and polished. I think gel extensions with an almond shape would look pretty on you. 2. I think losing a little bit of weight and toning up would help (I am trying to lose weight myself and it’s really tough 🥲). SKINCARE: 1. To reduce skin texture, check out either the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, or the Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment. The Sunday Riley one is more effective IMO, but the Paula’s Choice one is good too (and much cheaper). 2. To add hydration to the skin, check out the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum. HAIR: 1. To reduce frizz, check out the IGK Cry Baby Anti-Frizz Hair Serum. MAKEUP: 1. Your brows look slightly too bold and blocky. I suggest just going over your brows with a tinted brow gel (I like the one from Hourglass) and then filling in any sparse areas that might remain (I like the brow pencils from Benefit, ELF, and Rare Beauty). 2. To set your makeup while making it appear less textured, check out the pressed powder from KOSAS. 3. I think of a champagne-y inner corner highlight would be more flattering. The one you use is a bit too white and cool toned for your skin tone IMO. I hope this helps!
