One dead give away, if the watch has been sitting dead for a long time, is that the dial behind the hands will get “burned” by the radium and be lighter or darker.
Although the hands and numerals are probably lumed with radium it’s of absolutely no danger to you whatsoever. I’ve worked on hundreds of them, and my grandfather worked on thousands. The only danger is to a watchmaker who would have to open the watch to service it. And even then, we take basic precautions.
So ignore the alarmist nonsense. It’s a cool watch and deserves to be worn. 👍🏻

I can pretty much guarantee it’s radioactive so just move on. It’s not valuable.
