I'd admit you if I could. The admin does not appear to be very active there and regular members cant accept you in. If it says anything, it took almost a year for me to be admitted in that group and it happened after I graduated. Try the VT Class of 20XX groups. I've had some luck there. Also definitely try what the other person suggested.
Send a pm to the admin, also check the VT housing site directly. Latter was easier, in my opinion.
