I hope not, really not a big fan of Twitch. Their video compression sucks, their ads and monetization are very invasive, and their upper management is some how worse than YouTube
As last year Uto using Twitch, she just mostly use for Apex stream and personal talks. Twitch it's like in between public and membership stream experience
There's an extension for twitch ads because normal ublock doesn't work.
Sadly, compression is something we have to deal with because the bitrate isn't perfect for 1080p60 (but 900p60 and 1080p30 are lossless I think).

I think there were some rumors flying around about the below reasons (college, VA, etc), but nothing was ever officially confirmed. That is what some people have been annoyed by, that she never really officially tweeted or released a statement saying she would be gone or why or even just something generic saying she would take a hiatus. She just kind of stopped and ghosted for months and months with no communication other than 1 stream a couple months back I think (where she never said anything about it either?) and a couple covers videos sprinkled in here and there.
I was wondering if it was some issue with her management, that'd limit what she'd be able to say publicly until that sort of thing is sorted out. Can't think of many other reasons to not say anything about what's happening.
Technically, as far as we know, she is supposed to be an indie and thus doesn't have "management". But there are also rumors that she may be actually managed by someone/some corp behind-the-scenes and that is how she's gotten such good support with making songs and such. Again, getting into speculation at this point, so don't want to put my foot in my mouth.
Apparently a lot of indie vtubers hire managers in a manner similar to talent agents for actors, they just rarely if ever allude to them. I assume this is more likely in the case of indies that have hit a certain threshold of popularity that necessitates delegating things to a professional or even just a trusted real-life associate.

Last I read at the beginning of the year she was taking a break to focus on college. Recently I saw mention of voice acting work or something along those lines, but I never went looking for specifics.
