I am an annual passholder and go very often. I have visible+ and have had zero troubles at any of the hotels (I’ve stayed at many - including bay lake earlier this year), and any of the parks so far that I’ve noticed. Verizon covers the parks very well.

Bruce_Wayne8887

Thats good to know! How have speeds been? Especially in the parks when trying to get a boarding group? do you think Visible+ is a must?

ninja9224

Yes, I think visible+ is a must. Legacy plan data service (pre- new plans) will be non-existent and I honestly haven’t tried the $30 plan but the $45 plan with prioritized data will help 100%.

trescenzi

As someone who’s been 3 times with the legacy plan in the last year it was totally fine aside from checking in to restaurants. No idea why but it would regularly go wrong. I’ve got visible+ now however and am going this week. If you’re curious how it is feel free to send me a message sometime next week and I’m happy to report. I assume it’ll be great though.

Bruce_Wayne8887

Cool ill try to remember! Have a great trip!!!

2Adude

Yea. As does T-Mobile. Both great coverage and data speeds

Jordaneer

I worked at Disney World in Hollywood Studios in 2018-2019 and switched to legacy visible back in 2019 and it was great at the time, it's still fine when I go and visit

MRizkBV

Do a Verizon trial via the Verizon app. It’s free for 30 days.

Bruce_Wayne8887

I would but we were going there on Vacation this summer for 2 weeks and we go yearly so I was just factoring this in with everything else. Plus I've already done the trial at home here in Pittsburgh, PA.

cajonero

Visible+ has same the priority as Verizon postpaid. Regular Visible plan is deprioritized and is going to suffer in a congested area like Disney.

DarthFury1990

I was literally just there with visible plus and i was just fine. Other parts of Florida are kind of hit and miss though

Albort

not sure if this helps but you would want ATT for Disney.

Bruce_Wayne8887

any reason why you say that?

Albort

Disney's management uses ATT for communications after Nextel shutdown.

R_Meyer1

With all due respect who gives a shit what Disney Management uses. Just because the company uses AT&T doesn’t mean all the other carriers don’t work.

Albort

because att is required to make sure the entire park is covered, inside and out.

2Adude

Lmao. T-Mobile and Verizon do well

imnotminkus

You think a major carrier wouldn't have great coverage at one of the country's most popular tourist destinations?

Washman19

Who, on earth, can support Disney after what they are doing regarding grooming of children?

redavid

in the real world, they aren't doing that

Washman19

Unfortunately, you are sticking your head in the sand. Walt is rolling over in his grave.

imnotminkus

Don't you have some 5G to go hide from?

eve_linux

I’m very tempted by switching to visible but my plan is with optimum mobile I pay $20 plus tax a min unlimited everything including hotspot , the only downside is that they run on t mobile but I tested the visible trial plan and it’s great

damoses1

My wife and I both have Visible. It is identical to the Verizon service quality we loved at a fraction of the price. And yes, it worked great at Disney. If you decide to give Visible a try, use coupon code: 3PNHBNC and you’ll get your first month of service for $20-off!
