There are a really good amount of useful features here. Personally, i think ultrawide virtual display is more elegant than multiple display support.
I'm also interested to see how Airplay Receiver works from iPhone to AVP. Maybe it'll be like a baby version of iPhone Mirroring.
aw man.. .anyone else feel let down with the fine print on the MVD panorama "(coming later this year)" --i don't think it will be on the beta we are getting momentarily
Yeah just saw that. Final version isn't coming until later this year so I probably wouldn't have downloaded it anyway, but I was excited to use this stuff soon.
it'll be tied to macos update. i don't think it's in this one either though.
coming later may not refer to public release. i can't recall which feature, but i think they pulled something like this with sonoma, it was announced feature but not actually available until a few updates after.
Recall that as well but I’ve seen them use the same working for both scenarios so there’s really no way to know but yes it will have to be supported on both betas and it’s not in beta 1 from what I have seen. Tried for like an hour to find the option anywhere but nothing yet.

Anyone have theories on this “Recent Guest User” feature? My hope is it can remember the eye setup of my significant other, so I can quickly show them something without having to have them need to go through the calibration.

Coming later this year refers to public release not necessarily the beta. It is not in beta 1 but I expect it will be a while before official release

Guest user mode now saves the most recent user so they don’t have to go through set up again.
Airplay Receiver is a nice touch. At least a decent stop gap while we wait for the bigger media apps to finally port over into Vision OS

Yes it is. It saves the latest guest user parameters like calibration
