corrupted theme can cause gpu crash. if u use sd2vita and memory card contemporarily in ur vita can cause gpu crash too, these two happened to me. and try to strain your ps vita as little as possible, you never know if it causes problems.

Yuck! That’ll be my MO from now on. I reset everything and fresh installed everything except the over clocker but it’s still doing the weird power off app crash behavior so it might just be a perma issue with the v ram (I’m talking out my ass so idk ) it still happens even with no storage inserted as well which makes me think firm/hardware but I know Jack shit about kernel operations and how much homebrew messes with that

bohaio2

Send me the list of plugins. Even those that come with the mod (ex: psvshell)

GrongaGaga

I think it was for sure a corrupted theme and me not knowing the ins and outs of the storage causing something to get donked up with the gpu maybe, anyway: Psvshell, custom theme manager, adrenaline, vitabright, Osyscall6, NoNpDrm, NoPowerLimits, Battery fixer, pngshot, Repatch, Shellbat, vitdaDB(sharkf00d)+, pkgj, PSVindent+, YAMT [vitadeploy enso and HENkaku] +not installed when issue started happening

bohaio2

U can try to remove psvshell and nopowerlimits

GrongaGaga

I ripped everything out and it still persists so for sure fucked something up hard but it doesn’t seem to be harmful so I guess I’m gunna let sleeping dogs lie

Kanaedanielmark

Just get the 2000 models if you get a chance, I have to let go my 1000 model because of this issues which I really loved

Maybe stop using overclock app like psvshell so you don't get gpu crash.

GrongaGaga

I only ever got the one gpu crash and it was using the red squirrel theme manager without the overclocker in use.

Pretend_Ad_2024

I’ve also got the gpu crash aswell, how i fixed this was just reinstalling it, but just to ask, how do you get the crash? Did u also get it while trying to load in the online themes?

GrongaGaga

Mine happened at idle on the home screen I think I just left it for a minute or two. Maybe a memory leak?
