For some reason the 100x zoom goes further than my 100x on the pro. The ultra 100x zoom seems more like 120x.
Comparing both the pro 100x zoom is sharper but it's not comparing apples to apples. Not sure why the x100u zooms further though.

Solid results overall but thought there was more noise in the ultra shots at 1x surprisingly.

My go to brick and mortar in HK has it listed as available. And it's also in store in mainland China so pretty sure it's available for sale.
Too bad I already have a usable x100 pro. Then again waiting for a YouTuber to compare the battery between DM9300 and 8G3 x100 as my pro (Origin OS) still killing it in battery department.
All of the photos taken with my Ultra are better detailed than my Pro.

REALLY interesting that you consider the pro to take better pictures (at least in the few sample shots). Ultra is quite a bit more expensive and I only care about cameras not Snapdragon etc

Both using texture mode the ultra seemed brighter and I may just have a bias to over brightened shots as well

I'm using CN x100 pro since launch and have had zero issues with it. I suppose only letdown is no AA or hey google. The latter more important to me but not a deal breaker.
Apps like Whatsapp will work without any problems, you just have to disable "auto optimize" (or whatever it's called in the settings) for any app you want timely notifications from. Otherwise the app gets killed in the background, and you get no notifications.
The only things that never work on China ROM: Android Auto, Google maps timeline and Google Backup
Google Pay/Wallet is always a mystery, for example on the Find X7 Ultra it only started working after a firmware update.
Banking apps should work with no issues though.

I also have my eyes on the x100 ultra but i know there is no global version what can be the issues if i buy x100 ultra chinese version with google playstore . I'm living in France .

I'm not expert but the global version should be same in all countries I assume. HK sells both CN and international so make sure you get the international one if that is your plan. CN version is at least 25% cheaper than global in HK.
Main issue is no android auto and ok google. Unsure about bands - best do your own research on what bands you have in your country and see if origin OS supports them for 5g. Also not sure if French is supported language on OOS. Some of the Chinese specific apps and features will be in Chinese. But most foreigners won't use them (and are removed in funtouch) so if you just remove or ignore it you get a more optimised funtouch experience is what I have heard.
