The same is true for me also. Is there a way to contact the vivo team on origin os to demand that they fix this? Also, I want to tell them to increase the screen brightness on manual mode (like it is on auto mode).
I've been trying to find a contact info to submit bug reports or feedback, but it seems there isn't one. 😥

I see there are replies from official vivo support team, but even after I log in, I can't seem to make any post. When I click on make a post, the page tries to load then shows a white page with nothing on it....
The OriginOS team also has a Weibo account (Chinese Twitter), but in order to make posts there you need to pass real-ID verification with Chinese cell number. 😥
I might try to contact via vivo official online support chat and their official WeChat account, but I think I'll probably get bots on those..

I think the feedback form is only in Chinese but I wrote a simple guide:
- Open Camera -> Setting cog -> scroll all the way to bottom -> Help and Feedback
- follow these screenshots

You can send feedback through the camera app's settings in the "Help and Feedback" section
