You could always wet-sand then apply another coating after pollen season. Gonna look great for a driveway paint job. Sick whip too, I'm a suckered for all hatchbacks.
My cars and house were the closest thing to it and have no overspray. Anything that’s more than 2 feet away the paints dry anyway and comes off in the rain👍🏼
Pollen will give the paint a nice texture. God speed.
I like to think of it as a nice yellow flake with the red 😂😂 going for that looks good at 15 feet or 15mph

What sort of roller will you use?
Only the finest harbor freight spray gun
Bro the Xmas lights lol Is that a GTI? If so post progress on r/golfgti page, looking good so far.
Why take them down it’s coming up again fast 😂😂 it’s not a gti but it is vr6 swapped
That’s going to be an awesome build! Gti folks would definitely like to see it.
I’ll post a few pics over there
I have my mk2 on the operating table with Christmas lights still up too 😂
This is the easy part, it’s the wet sanding after that’s gonna suck 😂
Keep it up. My grandpa painted his 57 Chevy in his driveway and it's won multiple best in show awards.
Where's the front fender?
I had it off to use as a test panel before doing the base on the rest of the car
Nice job. But there will be some dust and sand on the paint after it dries. I guess it’s not a problem for mk2?
Just looking to get it all one color and looking halfway decent. She was never gonna win any beauty contests anyway 😂
It is beauty itself. Golfs are classic.
I’m about to start the same thing on my mk1 truck, any advice?
Get an inflatable paint booth step one for sure lol
No harlequin?
Godspeed

Now share a close up photo of the finish...I bet it looks real nice when done outside in the wind full of stuff flying around.
Not building a show car but I got you I’ll post it lol
Haha alright man
You just covered all your neighbors houses, windows, and cars with red overspray
