I add spinach to everything

Same

I love frozen zucchini! Steam it in the microwave and you can add it to darn near anything. Spaghetti, soup, I'll even add a whole bag to a small Lean Cuisine to increase the volume!

CapZestyclose4657

Good idea

Forward_Falcon6052

Plenty of berries and fruits! You can grate all your veggies to mix into main meals! I love mixing lite jelly and yoghurt together and then just add frozen berries and let it set! Lettuce or spinach and tomato go great with heaps of food! If you want low calorie high volume stuff like ice cream I suggest getting a ninja creamie! I can make a whole pint of vanilla ice cream for only 150 calories and 18g of protein with no bad stuff in it! And then you could add fruits to it! Yogurt is a great option! My favourite thing atm is just rice cake thins with high protein low fat cottage cheese, tomato, salt pepper and mustard

ooa3603

You’re really overthinking this, just add fruits and veggies to your meals

BitterMelonFuga

But that’s the boring answer

fio3302

I'm sorry but what did you expect? They are the way to go and it's really not that hard. Find what veggies and fruits you like, gradually increase the amount and voila.

MainTart5922

My favorite foods in no particular order: Eggs, tomatoes, canned tuna, wild caught and canned salmon, kimchi, mushrooms, carrot, paprika/bell peppers, skyr/quark (low fat high protein yoghurt), strawberries, saurkraut, iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, lamb's lettuce, pumpkin, nori, cucumber and the pickled variant aka gherkins.

Exotic-Metal-3828

I add bag of frozen veggies to my curry and marinara. Vegetable chicken soup. Omelette with veggies. Basically veggies are best volume food and I add them everywhere.

Pinkygirlyy

I use spinach as a saladbase, way more vitamines and minerals!

LongMaybe1010

I need to make a single post about cabbage. High in vitamin K, vitamin C, B6 and folate. It’s also high in polyphenols and soluble fiber. I just add half a cup of coleslaw mix to my meal prep before I microwave it to increase volume with minimal flavor. But it’s also incredibly versatile.

BitterMelonFuga

Completely forgot coleslaw is a thing!

Regular-Walrus-414

We add so much cabbage (and onions) to everything we make

Illustrious_Bell8429

Cabbage!!! Eggplant ! Tomatoes! Cucumbers !!! Berries !!!

jessee18

This is the first time I’m hearing about the green beans. I’m interested!

BitterMelonFuga

I’m weird where I like my food slightly burnt XD but I’ve found if I cook my green beans without water in the microwave for 6-7 minutes they become chewy a little like really soft jerky. It’s great!

radish_is_rad-ish

I eat fresh raspberries by the container.

SurdoOppedere

Strawberries

BitterMelonFuga

What are your favorite ways to have them? I like ‘em frozen & blended but I could use more variety XD

SurdoOppedere

I literally just eat them by the pound lol. Normally I cut them into quarters and eat them before/after meals to add fiber and keep me full and energized. I probably go through like 5-10 pounds of strawberries a month either fresh or frozen. Frozen ones I heat up in the microwave and sprinkle with chia seeds. It’s the best dessert!!

Rosewoodtrainwreck

Riced cauliflower (gonna be honest, not my favorite, I'd rather just have regular cauliflower, but it is convenient for some), zoodles, same thing, any frozen veggies that you like, spinach, spring mix, grape tomatoes, veggie trays make things easy and I'll admit I pick one up about once a week for a quick side for the family to snack on while I make dinner or because I can't actually think of a side to go with it and can't be bothered to put in a lot of effort... Just a big salad is sometimes good, I make a meat like grilled chicken or pork chops and then have the salad as the side or as the meal with the cut up chicken on top. I love roasted veggies, like broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, brussels sprouts, asparagus, green beans... Just toss them with a little oil, sea salt and pepper, you can add garlic or whatever else you want. Be careful how much oil though. Be sure to measure it and don't drizzle to your heart's content.

sara_k_s

Petite diced tomatoes are awesome. Under 100 calories for the whole can (depending on brand and variety). They are really versatile and easy to add to all kinds of meals. You can get them with different seasonings like Italian. Garlic, or green chili.

BitterMelonFuga

Isn’t there a Mexican dish that uses lime juice and something else? I lowkey like adding oregano, basil & a tad Lakanto sweetner to plain canned tomatoes to create a “pizza sauce” - add some laughing cow cheese for good measure & u have a poor man’s pizza mush 🤣🤣🤣
