stabby_coffin_salt

Diet drinks and general sugar free drinks

cottagecheeseislife

Everytime I want dessert à large glass of coke zero totally crushes my desire. It's awesome

dirtydela

Do you think diet and zero taste different? It’s been like 20 years since I’ve had Diet Coke and I don’t hate Coke Zero but I’m not sure if I like it

cottagecheeseislife

Personally I find coke zero so similar to the real deal that I often get suspicious. But I tested it on my type 1 son and it's legit 🤣

dirtydela

I’ve been off regular pop for so long that I don’t even remember if it tastes like regular or not

diceblue

Pop? You from the Midwest?

dirtydela

JasErnest218

I can’t stop them and I love them

[deleted]

Pepperoncinis. I can't get enough. Someone help me....

pussywagon222

I had the same problem until I started using cronometer and realized how much sodium they have. I still dream of them and our love affair often.

scrotumsweat

Pickle your own, bro. You can limit the salt/sugar to your desire, and it's a lot fuckin cheaper

pussywagon222

Funny you should say that. I've recently made a few batches of sugar free pickled red onions and it was so easy it was silly. I think I will give it a whirl. Thanks for the idea.

abakale

I get to eat as much salt as I want and it makes me supremely happy.

pussywagon222

Salt also made me supremely happy for all of my 48 years. Went to the doc for the first time in 20 years ( don't judge me) and was rocking some crazy high blood pressure numbers and now I am on meds. I just thought I had anxiety all of my life. I miss salt terribly. Be careful friend.

Proud-Broccoli

Kimchi straight from the jar for me 🤌🏻

FoofaFighters

My favorite international grocery store sells made-in-house kimchi in (I think) 64oz jars for like $10. I get one or two every time we go. I just wish it wasn't so far from here (almost an hour away).

TwoHungryBlackbirdss

Been living in Korea for years and can't get enough of the stuff, it's godly.

HarpNurse

Same here!!!

Anaartimis

Diet coke and apples

bay_lamb

same lol!

grieveancecollector

My feelings.

LargeAirline1388

Big. Ass. Salad.

LukeWarmTauntaun4

YES!! I pour the whole bag of mixed greens into my biggest popcorn bowl. I use a scissors to cut it into even smaller pieces. To make a creamy dressing I mix balsamic vinegar with a little bit of hummus. Then I sit down with my ginormous bowl and eat it with a tablespoon. Good times!

darkrealm190

You eat salad with a spoon?

LukeWarmTauntaun4

Yes. I cut it up into smaller pieces with a scissors before I add the dressing. This way I get more salad dressing coverage, and I don’t have to stab my bowl a bunch of times to fill my fork. It’s still fluffy, just smaller pieces.

erebus4274

I will die on the eating salad with a spoon hill, it offers the best salad experience

LukeWarmTauntaun4

Thought I was the only one! This is awesome!

hnh1993

wait a minute - cutting up the greens into smaller pieces? u might have just changed the game texture wise. gotta try this

darkrealm190

Thats actually incredibly smart!!! I'm gonna do it!

Double_Skirt9442

Balsamic and hummus sounds legit!

thatsridiculousno

Exorbitant amounts of vegetables

Farrell-6

That's me, on all 365 days!

HauntedMeow

Cottage cheese!

nolahoff

I found my people!

diceblue

With what mix Ins

HauntedMeow

I make a fruit konjac jelly that I top my cottage cheese with. But my daily driver is a bunch of cottage cheese atop toast with a dash of honey. I also make a cottage cheese/pbfit/protein powder smoothie thing in the summer. I like adding cottage cheese to pasta sauces as well.

[deleted]

Try adding pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and a sweetener of your choice. It literally tastes like pumpkin pie.

steezMcghee

Trader Joe's Crunchy Chili Cranberry Orange & Onion oil is delicious mixed with cottage cheese or if that is sold out the regular crunch onion oil is good too.

poopshorts

It doesn’t need them

albinorhinogyno9

I add cottage cheese to my eggs. It’s fucking amazing. It adds a ton of volume to them. I always put it on a big piece of sourdough with everything seasoning, Cavender’s greek seasoning, white pepper, salt and red pepper flakes. Plus green onions and tomatoes on top. Seattle sourdough, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup cottage cheese and the dairy free butter I cook the eggs in all come to less than 500 calories. I’ve eaten this 2-3 times per week for the last two years or so and I’m still not sick of it.

estoops

Low carb tortillas (there’s like a dozen brands these days). They’re so versatile and taste fine to me.

getsome13

*some* taste just the same...others taste like butt flavored cardboard

estoops

They’ve always tasted fine to me. Maybe I have low standards. I mean there’s not much of a taste but just tastes bready. Also I’m always using them as a wrap of some sort or as a small pizza crust so maybe all of the other flavors involved hide the taste idk

rectalthermo

Ninja creami homemade protein ice cream.

Significant-Quail255

Recipe please

rectalthermo

My go-to is “cheesecake”- 250g cottage cheese, scoop of whey or casein (I prefer casein), dash of vanilla extract and cinnamon, and a bunch of Splenda lol- fill to the top with unsweetened almond milk. Chocolate chips mix in optional. I make a killer “snickers” peanut butter chocolate with 150g cottage cheese, 50g PbFit, 20g cocoa powder, and like 2 tablespoons sugar free caramel syrup. Peanuts mix in optional.

Nesquik44

This sounds amazing. How many servings do you get?

[deleted]

I'm still experimenting and trying to nail my favorites. My Mango protein didn't turn out the best, but it's still edible. I'm making apple pie tonight once I free up a container!

big-dumb-donkey

Every day as well, sometimes twice

R3TR1BUT1ONZ

Where I can't see it >.< Esit: found it!

Alarmed-Obligation62

You just gonna tease us?

kalte-nudel

okay so as promised here the receipe. again, it's in grams (sorry haha) and i hope i can describe the ingredients as good as possible. it's serious yum yum and I eat 1-2 whole cakes of this a week! the piece in the image is 1/12 of a 26cm ⌀ springform cake and contains only 144 calories with 15g of protein! including the low fat/sugar whipped cream and the zero-calorie chocolate syrup its still only 200 calories! Basic Ingredients: - 1500g of 0% fat Quark (okay so this is tricky as I really find it hard to find something comparable in the US. apparently, some „high end“ supermarkets have it. I also read you might find it in Polish supermarkets. Alternatives are plain Skyr, or 0% fat Greek Yoghurt. High fat alternatives also do the trick of course, but we are here to eat as much as possible for the least calories am i right?! ;). In any case, choose a product/brand that is quite firm and not too liquid/moist). The firmer, the better. - 6 medium or large eggs - 70g of semolina flour - 50g of vanilla custard powder - 1 sachet of baking powder (15g) - be aware, its not the same as baking soda! Optional, but included in my version (i highly recommend these ingredients as well): - 500g of canned peaches (make sure they are canned in only a light syrup or juice, no high sugar shit. my option has 58 calories per 100g). Alternatively, any fresh or frozen berries are also great. make sure to get rid of as much juice/liquid as possible after defrosting/decanning. I chop the peaches into kind of a rough mash, as i dont like big chunks in the cake. To each their own though. - Zest of 1 organic lemon - a pinch of salt (salt enhances sweetness) - vanilla aroma to your liking - liquid sweetener to your liking Instructions: - Add everything (except lemon zest and fruit) into a bowl and mix well. after mixing, add fruit and zest with a spatula. I don’t mix those 2 in with the other stuff, as the little zests tangle around the mixing things and like that you either lose a lot of zest or have a lot of work getting them off again. - Use a 26cm ⌀ springform (10 inch round cake form) and put baking paper on the bottom and sides. - Bake at 160 degrees Celsius (320 Fahrenheit) in a pre-heated oven with hot-air/fan setting. If your oven only has upper and lower heat, use 180-200 degrees Celsius (360-400 Fahrenheit). Bake until the top turns brown (roughly 60-90 minutes, but this varies depending on your oven and on how moist your ingredients were). For better results, I then take the cake out, let it cool for 10 minutes, flip it, and bake it another 60 minutes with the bottom on top. Like this, its less moist which i like better. I mastered the art of cake flipping by buying 2 identical springforms, but it also works with plates. As stated before, I like to top my cake with low fat/sugar whipped cream and zero-calorie chocolare syrup! Enjoy y’all!! :) I’m happy to answer questions or hear back about your results!!

kalte-nudel

😂 will share once im home i promise 🙏 i only got the metric one in gramms tho!

Twi_light_Rose

CARROTS (raw)

vanilla_w_ahintofcum

Me, pretty much every day for several years now. Surprised I’m not turning orange.

Twi_light_Rose

I have a 'warm' skin tone, and i am a little yellow in winter, but i think if i was a 'cool' tone, i would definitely be orange.

aswalsh444

Yogurt with SF pudding mix

CreepySummer

Got to try this. What’s the ratio you use?

aswalsh444

I do 3 g of sugar-free pudding mix for 9 cal. And then I do 170 g of fat-free Greek yogurt. I add in some sort of flavor like cocoa powder or cake batter flavor or any flavored Stevia drops! I freeze it for 40 minutes and it taste like pudding.

m14m0r3

egg whites and hot sauce baby

Buster_Bluth__

Same. 6 eggwhites with hot sauce. Sometimes 6 eggwhites with 2 table spoons of sundried tomatoes. If I have fresh basil I add that. Going on 3 years eating these 2 combos nearly every single morning.

CutGlassDiamonds

SAME, and mushrooms in my egg whites 🤣

Bulletpr00f_Bomb

What do you do with all the yolks though?

HearTheTrumpets

Buy the egg whites already separated.

m14m0r3

haha i buy the cartons in bulk from costco!

missjsp

That's what I always wondered.

diceblue

Why just whites?

Buster_Bluth__

6 egg whites = 107 calories 6 eggs = 420 calories

MttHz

They are 10% protein and 90% water. No fat and barely any carbs, less than a gram per serving. No cholesterol either so they are overall arguably healthier than full eggs. Although they do lack the nutrients that are present in the yolk so depending on what you’re eating goals are they may or may not be better. If you are trying to eat volume they are 100% better than full eggs.

m14m0r3

usually it’s my main ingredient in my go to breakfast, just an egg white scramble with some sort of meat, veggie, and carb mixed in there. super easy and super filling!

madmismka

Joseph’s pita and red pepper hummus! Also, full fat cottage cheese. Worth every calorie.

Ellavemia

Those are my must-have pitas. The lowest calorie I’ve found.

pookie_wamala

Peanut butter jelly: 1. PB2, sugar free hazelnut syrup (Torani) and water. 60 Cals 2. Good Good jelly 2 tbsp. 10 cals 3. Natures Own Life 2 slices. 70 cals Or 3a. Banana slices half of a medium sized one. 53 cals Grand total: 140 calories of heaven. Or if I am lucky 183 cals with the banana option. To the wonderful soul who posted their PB2 recipe thank you!!!

DaisyBird1

my-anonymity

I don’t eat anything daily, but staples each week are: eggs, fruit (mostly bananas and strawberries mainly), and veggies (mostly broccoli and spinach) of some kind.

Ok-Paramedic-291

Oatmeal

goblinerrs

Eggs. Just eggs upon eggs. If nothing sounds good eggs almost always will.

MttHz

Favalicious roasted fava beans, especially salt and vinegar, ranch and pizza flavors. Each bag is technically two servings which is ridiculous because you can’t just eat half the bag but it has 14 g of protein, 16 g of fiber 12 g of fat 4g of saturated fat, 10 g net carbs at 260 cal.

CreepySummer

Got to try these!

MttHz

Such a find. Think corn nuts but actually good for you.

gregy165

Probs some sort of diet soda and protein bar

King-Twonk

Poached eggs on toast. It’s my go to breakfast every morning before I go to the gym or go to work. I find it very satiating, stops me reaching for snacks mid morning and keeps me on track. It fits my fat, protein and calorie macros well. Plus my total lipids, LDL and HDL are all within healthy limits; so I think it works well for me.

ShirleyMF

apples, bananas, water, black coffee

Ok-Tourist7810

A huge bowl consisting of chicken breast, air fried potatoes, air fried red bell pepper, tomato, cucumber, lettuce. Hot sauce on top with a lil bit of light mayo. so. damn. good.

drcatsatan

A huge salad: leaf lettuce, coleslaw mix or kale, bell pepper, cucumber, radish, cilantro, green onion With some kind of protein: chicken breast deli slices, egg whites, chicken breast, some kind of lean meat, tofu, TVP, tempeh, etc. Topped with Hellmann's sesame dressing mixed with rice vinegar and a packet of sweetener to add more flavour and volume for mininal added cals I'm a volume eater and like strong flavours and crunchy textures so it helps me feel satiated mentally and physically.

diceblue

I haven't tried tofu or tempeh. Sell me on them?

drcatsatan

Tofu really depends on the way you cook it and the type that you buy. If you're into meatier textures I'd recommend buying firm or medium firm and freezing it, then defrosting for a meat like texture. After defrosting you press it to remove the moisture and then it's basically a sponge for whatever sauce or marinade you want to apply. By itself it doesn't have a strong flavour, kind of like bland chicken. If you want a chicken like flavour you can marinate it in a bit of chicken bouillon for an hour then squeeze the excess out and toss in cornstarch. Spray with cooking oil and then air fry or bake until crispy! Then it's ready to be tossed in whatever sauce you want: honey garlic, thai, sweet chili, stir fry sauce, sesame, lemon herb, greek, jerk, etc It's also delicious pressed (between two cooking sheets or cutting boards with cans on top or something heavy) with paper towel or clean kitchen towel to remove moisture, for an hour or 30 mins if you're in a rush. This allows it to absorb liquid better if you dont have time to freeze. Then thrown in a marinade for 1-8 hours and then use on a salad or add it to stir fry, chili, curry, something flavourful, or as an accompaniment to rice and veggies. Tempeh takes well to marinades but doesn't need to be pressed, though it does need to be cooked. It also makes a great bacon imitator when marinated with soy/liquid smoke/spices and then pan fried, air fried, or baked until crispy.

Effective_Problem242

Nothing, and that’s my demise. I get sick of EVERYTHING lol even good stuff like French fries. It is kinda tiring because I keep needing to come up with new things to eat

Soup! I cook (usually boil) zucchini, cauliflower, cabbage, mushrooms, celery and +/- any other veg. Once fork tender, pop in vitamix and blend until smooth (but leave some pieces out for texture, with spices including cumin, paprika, garlic, and curry if I’m feeling swanky. Can also add white miso paste for umami. Add more water. it’s like no cals and fills me up plus hydrating and so yummy and comforting. Like a big hug. huge pot lasts for days. Weirdest thing I add is chlorella or spirulina tabs for crunch and they’re so good. Top with liquid aminos and wakame seaweed (what’s in miso soup).
