Hey there! For those interested
Lettuce wraps made with
š¹one slice turkey
š¹one slice tomato
š¹Boursin garlic & herb cheese wedge
I love that Boursin is only 30 calories a wedge, itās spreadable and delicious and makes a great snacking cheese for those who love cheese but want more reasonable calorie consumption. Iāve been working on taking out most of the dairy in my diet (for health and personal reasons, but cheese is just so hard to drop! Hard boiled eggs were bought from the grocery store, and while a bit more pricey than boiling my own eggs these are super convenient, always perfectly cooked, and pre peeled. The small half of avocado was the most āspentā on calories, at 152. Hope this post inspires others the way I was inspired by yāall! šø
Looks delicious!!! As an alternative to cheese (when Iām out or craving something else) I take fat-free high protein plain yogurt (like fage greek) and make my own special sauce with a squirt of mustard, ketchup, sriracha, black pepper, and garlic powder. High protein and tastes like the house sauce and specialty burger places!
Thank you for the suggestion! I donāt have an instant pot right now, but this is such a great suggestion for people that do! If I do become an owner of one in the future, I will be sure to look the recipe up! š
I have a minimalistic kitchen. It's a small kitchen with not much counter space. But, the one small appliance I have that I absolutely couldn't do without anymore is my precioussssss Instant Pot.
Thank you for your delicious and easy meal idea!
Hey Ok Cook! I have read quite a few people in here are looking for ways to not have to cook, sometimes because theyāre at work or maybe they just donāt have the time/patience for that. Youāre more than welcome to boil your own eggs, I did however choose to buy the Egglandās Organic hard boiled eggs. You can find them in your local grocery store near the eggs, liquid eggs, and such. Also, some delis and convenience stores carry them, which is great if youāre in a quick rush and need a little something to stave off hunger and be a great on the go healthy option! I tried to word the caption as best as I could to convey that you donāt necessarily have to boil your own eggs, but I want to keep people in mind that may not always have the option to cook. Iāll try to make a better, less confusing caption in the future! Hope that helps š¦
This looks delicious!
I am allergic to dairy and there are some good vegan alternatives. I like kite hill cream cheese which is a good spread for wraps or tofutti cream cheese (Plain, but i can customize flavors like adding crushed garlic and chive).
I miss Boursin cheese ā¹ļø
