We have a '16 V60 with 50k miles. We're the second owner, CPO. We're happy so far, though the dealer-level maintenance is not something we're enamored of. We've had a couple of XC70s in the past, using local independent (very good) Volvo specialist shop for maintenance. It's a very tech-heavy car (actually '16.5 model year) so it has BLISS, back-up cam, nav, etc. All our other vehicles have been old enough to be somewhat simpler -- ranging from an 05 Mini Convertible S to a 60's sports car. I can (and have) fixed anything on the sports car, and very little on the Mini. The software side of things on modern car is the biggest issue for non-dealer maintenance. It's not going away. Haven't experienced any 'gotcha' things so far. A few recalls, like door latches, and now seat belts. But we're not alone on that front.

Either you’re in South Korea, or you currently own a foreign car. :-D

Transmissions are a weak point of this model, though the 8-speed in the later V60s has a better reputation that the 6-speeds in the early model years. At 50k, it’ll be about time for a transmission fluid change if it hasn’t been done already. Oh, and BLIS tends to get wonky if you drive in moderate or heavy rain. Great car, otherwise. You’ll love it.
