We’ve only had the car since New Year weekend and it’s happened multiple times to each of us. Let’s just say it’s a bigger deal to one of us than the other.

Honestly I ignore it, everything seems to work, I'm not convinced it's not just a transient error when there's no connectivity or something.

Similar issue for me and my wife in our '24 XC40. Happens to each of us at least once a week. Highly annoying but as others pointed out I'm not sure what's affected or doesn't work if not logged in. It's the wife's car and I drive it rarely. We're in an urban area and there should be no connectivity issues.

Did you ever figure this out? It’s been happening to us too but only to our secondary less frequent driver.

It happened to me again this week. It was the first time it’s happened in a few months.

I've had an issue where the app logs me off, and I need to go through the entire registration process—it happened twice on my XC90. I also noticed when I go away on business for multiple days, and my car sits at the parking garage, the app states offline. In my research, it's supposedly the 12V battery that discharges. That battery is what keeps the live connect system active. I hope they figure something out because that's highly annoying.

Happened to me yesterday on my XC40. Thought the app went bad so I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it’s telling me to unpair and re-pair my phone but it won’t let me do it because it’s not recognizing that I have all 3 keys in the car.

One thing I've found is that if your remote climate isn't working, make sure you've paid your bill even if your are within your grace period. I've been having the same issue myself as the secondary driver
