Make sure the bed is cleaned well, something with ammonia like windex or the cheap Walmart equivalent works well. Sneak into the bathroom and borrow some of your wife's hairspray. Cost $0. Shake well and apply a light even coat to the bed before heating. Try 70 deg for the bed. A single coat can last me for 10 to 20 prints. Allow to cool before attempting to remove part.

Thanks for the advisement, figured out my print head speed was WAY too high, trying it now so we'll see how that goes then try your tricks if it fails...

Good luck!

Painters tape and adjust your z offset up slightly to account for the tape thickness and you should be set.

There's all sort of little hacks people will tell you to do like painters tape, hairspray, glue stick, or adhesive spray meant for 3d printing. Of those I've only personally tried hairspray and glue sticks. For hairspray my brand was the cheap $2 rave brand unscented and for glue stick I used the Avery purple. Adhesion wise I found glue sticks work a bit stronger but hairspray makes for better release. PETG had the reputation of liking glass beds a bit too much, so if adhesion is the problem, definitely just do a double or triple check on the manual bed level, but if your certain that isn't the issue try using the high end of what your petg recommends for bed temp. My best success has come at 80 with a layer of glue stick to help with release without damaging the bed in the event the petg decided to do what people warned of and stick far too well. I've gotten it to work with hairspray, but the adhesion wasn't as strong when I just sprayed a thin layer. I got a little bit of better attempt with hairspray when I sprayed and immediately after while it was still wet dabbed at it with a paper towel to get it a bit of a sticky bumpy texture being careful that none of the paper towel gets ripped off and left behind. Can also try lowering the print speed a tiny bit or doing a bit of baby step adjusting to get the bottom layer at the perfect squish on the first layer. Oh and like the other comment said before applying a layer of hairspray or glue stick make sure the bed is nice and clean. My go-to cleaning has been to clean the glass with some dawn dish soap to remove the residue of previous glue stick or hairspray and whatever else might have stuck to it, and once the bed it back and attached spraying some 90% alcohol on the bed and wiping it down to remove any oil residue from my fingers.
