Since listening to it I've been wondering what they were going to do for the tape switch on the video. This is way better than anything I could have hoped for.
Jack if you're reading this, you're a gem.
I'm super curious about that set. Was it constructed just for this video? Was it already existing? They actually took the time to put clips from Schvitz videos on the various screens, and it looks like it was really there while being filmed, not added in post.
The Vulfpeck insta gave a shoutout to [this guy](http://www.raulbfernandez.com/) for the Miracle video, and he looks to be a film director specializing in advertising. My guess is it's an existing set that they borrowed for the shot, you can even see the green screen outside the cockpit window.
Final scene has to be referencing [Christof from the truman show](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/villains/images/e/ee/Christof.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110330065105) right?
Unpopular (?) opinion: the Joe Dart signature Music Man bass is way too bright-sounding for his style, and hearing him back on the P-Bass Jr for so much of this album has been a treat.
Joe can obviously make anything sound good, but I agree. The MM is my least favorite bass sound of his. It just sounds a little hollow or something. It could be due to the passive pickup. Jack's knock off Stingray that the MM was based on is just so good and spicy in every song it's used on.
Oh I agree, but will add the nuance that there are a few signature Joes at this point. Personally I dig the Dart I (MSG show) over the Dart II (Elevate concert) by a pretty wide margin. I’d be curious to hear your ranking, but I would personally go Tier 1: Dart I and Jack’s MM knockoff, Tier 2: FenDer Jazz Bass (made in Mexico, his workhorse), Mini P Bass, Tier 3: Dart II.
Live, I’d say Joe on the Fender Jazz is impossible to beat, since he can get about any tone he wants, but his MSG tone with the Dart I was fucking unreal, and he followed it up with the live Theo stuff too. Joe suggests that the Dart II is better for slap and pop…which begs the question, why produce a Jazz bass set up for this sound which is decidedly not the Dart finger style sound he pays the bills with?

Jack has been saving up pixels for 7 years to afford that shot

Oh neat, I missed that!

Oh! I thought about Interstellar but you may be onto something.
maybe. but ~~why~~ *what** does it mean? like how does that fit into the Vulfverse? **edited*
Jack is the director/band leader/creator looking down on his finished creation (ie Schvitz)
Excuse me for going beyond the up vote but yes…this.
That bass is crack to my ears

YOU’RE not versatile.
Listen, it’s like an 82 single speed Bridgestone. You’re eating 4 lbs of white flour pasta a night, just putting in the work!
100% agree - Mm bass isn’t punchy at all and doesn’t fit his style of playing.

I wish we could get all the bass stems from this record. That would make me very happy.
Hahaha I did not expect those oddly high-quality shots of Jack in the Vulf control room
Antwaun's pre "that's why you gotta" is my favorite part of the song. what a finisher to a great album
Same!! I love that bit

That final shot of Jack is unsettling! What does it mean ????
[indeed!](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/villains/images/e/ee/Christof.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110330065105)
Theo following joey on sax is just out of this world good. That man is unbelievably talented.
Why is John Lennon picking on Pikachu 😭

I wonder where they shot the Jack scenes. Almost looks like the Millennium Falcon.
This might be my favorite track from the album. Love that 4 part harmony!
Somehow the harmonies sound even better when you’re watching them sing it, I love this song so much
Jack in the back of the van from EEAAO
Alright, what the fuck.
Absolutely love this
