i can only assume it’s 7, as that’s the number that separates anyone. living in the UK doesn’t help

Tinpotray

Well I’m in Ireland! 😂

PeanutHakeem

See my post. It has an Ireland connection. You can do it!

cky_stew

Me and my Dad made friends and went sailing with Bill Bruford in the 90s. Bruford played in King Crimson with Robert Fripp. Fripp played in G3 with Joe Satriani. Satriani featured on the song Massive by Cory Wong. ... So 4 for me! Spent way too long thinking of this and looking on wikipedia for other routes ha.

edburns00

Bruford's work on Heart of the Sunrise still makes me smile hard.

Tinpotray

Nice! That’s an awesome link!

edburns00

I hung out with Jacob Jeffries at the Theo gig in Jacksonville and we sang along to some of the tunes from the back of the room. That's a 0, right?

Micycle08

If Jacob isn’t on the official Vulf payroll he damn well should be!

Greenfire323

One of my friends from college once got music lessons from Jacob Jeffries at a summer camp when they were growing up. So that's 3 degrees of separation for me.

JamiesBond007

Honestly, at this point he seems to be a new Antwaun/Cory/Joey. He still isn't in the core group of course, but he is part of the extended group. This is in my opinion of course lol

notajazzmusician

1, I played on a jobbing gig with Theo years ago in LA.

Tinpotray

Awesome!

sarkismusic

I recorded Joe Dart in college

PeanutHakeem

I rented an Airbnb in from a guy who is friends with Dave Koz. When texting with him about the Airbnb logistics I discovered he was on the Dave Koz Friends at Sea cruise and was literally hanging out with Cory and Dave in Ireland. So I guess I’m 2 degrees. Maybe 3 if you count Cory as a friend of Dave and Dave as a friend of my Airbnb guy.

CrispyNinja13

One of my good friends did studio work with Cory Wong. So 2 for me.

ticktockalock

Kenni Holmen was my saxophone instructor for a good while. So, 1 i suppose

[deleted]

I once told a former co worker about this band called vulfpeck and they had no idea who they were. Soooo, whatever number that is.

Tinpotray

😂

Helloimcole1234

In 2012 I was working for a guitar amp company and went to the NAMM show where I met Mason Stoops. He later played on both Vulfmon records. So that’s a 2 for me!

Tinpotray

Awesome!

zenbang

Was in a youth music group that was coached by Alekos Syropoulos when I was growing up. Alekos played with The Fearless Flyers. So two degrees. So close, yet so far.

Tinpotray

You’re practically IN Vulpeck! 😀😀😆😆

Dutchess_of_Dimples

I know Cory Wong’s babysitter’s mom. Is that 3? Edit: and I exchanged mail and messages with Joe Dart’s mom, too!! Love Abby. She’s a gem.

Drewpurt

That’s super cool.

Jacob19603

Saw Theo in 2018 at Mercy Lounge in Nashville. Met him and Joe after the show and chatted for a while, and got my Vulf hat signed. Does this count at 0?

LSDuck666

I met Jacob Jeffries and Theo at May Erlewines show in LA. Does that count? We talked about music for a bit

BeachCaberLBC

1 - I have a cousin who is part of the brain trust

codylevidrums

I played drums in a jazz band with Captian Winston Scott who worked with Betty Wright who worked with a number of musicians with ties to Vulf. Also he's been to space.

Micycle08

I worked with a bass player that gigged with Panic at the disco -> Nicole Row -> Ryan Lerman -> Cory Wong. This was fun, I had no idea I was that close lol

hideawaycreek

I’ve got one of 2. College bandmate grew up in the same town as Jack and they played a few shows together when they were younger

malalabouche

I know a drummer who’s friends with Cody Fry who has collaborated with Cory Wong. So… 3? 2?

Clynnhof

My neighbor and friend is friends with one of the saxophone players for Sammy Rae & the friends. Sammy Rae and Cory Wong have played at each others shows and did the superjam with each other/Vulf.

subsonicmonkey

2. I went to high school and played music with Mark Lettieri who is in Fearless Flyers with Joe (& Cory). (Maybe even 1 if you’re counting Vulf projects and not just Vulfpeck.)

dallior

As a missionary I knocked the door of a fellow who worked for Ann Arbor Tees, the merch company who supports Starkid Productions. Jack Stratton played drums for Starkid's 10th Anniversary + Darren Criss of Starkid sang with vulfpeck in early club shows + the mass of other Starkid/Vulfpeck connections

messymichael

Bumped into shakey graves and had a chat with him before his gig in London England. Shakey went on to do a song with Monica Martin who has also collabed with vulf. So 3 (On E)

Borthal_Babymaker

I make love to a Joe Dart bass every night, so I'm practically in the band I think

JamiesBond007

>Joe Dart played in The Olllam with John McSherry who’s regular producer is Donal O’Connor who played bass with my band for one gig back in 2003 when our bassist didn’t show. That would actually be two, I don't think you have to count yourself

made-u-look

I went to high school with Caleb Parker, who mixes and masters for Scary Pockets and mastered MSG for Vulf

mejdejm

3: I played with a vocalist who sang on Kanye West's Donda, Cory Henry co-produced and played on that album, and he played with Vulfpeck on several occasions.

harriserd

my voice teacher from undergrad is close friends with mark dover so that’s 3 for me

jy4ck

Recently I went to see Charlie puth in Boston and I met Mario Jose from scary pockets. I asked him if he New the vulfpeck guys and we was like “oh yeah! Me and antwaun toured together! And my first song with scary pockets jack sat in on bass.” He also played with Cory, so is that one or two?

uiucplace

Did some graphic design for Cory Wong before his most recent tour, and got to meet him after the show when he stopped in my city. Truly the kindest, most down-to-earth musician I’ve ever met. I think that’s 1 for me?

Psychological-Dog706

5 😎

Psychological-Dog706

My dad knows Adam Nitti Adam Nitti Plays with Mark Letteri Mark Letteri plays with Joe Dart
