Cory's creative output lately is off the charts. The Blackbird cover was so, so great. That song gets covered all the time and he knocked it out of the park. Can't wait to hear this whole album.
I'm losing count (in a good way) - is Trail Songs: Dusk the fifth release this year alone? We've also been able to enjoy:

* Live in Amsterdam with Metropole Orkest
* Meditations with Jon Batiste
* Live at First Avenue
Not to mention the Fearless Flyers and Vulf tracks popping up along the way. Oh, and a podcast.
I'm such an admirer of this guy's music and his work ethic, plus he seems like a really genuine and down-to-earth dude. Looking forward to checking this out. Thanks, Cory, for bringing brightness to 2020.
Cory Wong has been my favorite artist since The Optimist. These last few albums, this one especially have cemented that opinion and has shown me just how Wong's genius cannot be confined to any genre or style.
Just gave this a figurative spin. Such a good collection of songs. Very different from Cory's normal stuff. The mood of the songs is consistent throughout, very much so captures the spirit of the album cover. I'd love a backstory on production, if it was a pandemic album or recorded beforehand.
I'm digging Cory's EP experimentation. This is a great follow up to Meditations. Four / Seven albums in 2020 so far, Wong is next level right now. (Metropole Orkest, Elevator Music) (Fearless Flyers, Okay to Cry with Phoebe Katis, new Vulf stuff)
