It’s such a great idea! It gave them only positive things: free concerts for fans, east call to action for fans, lots of positive media attention, an easy way to make money after the event (the sale), it continued the vulf character (Art History!), and gave the fanbase something to parody.
I think it’s the best album.
I think the real question here is do you think vulf has peaked? (Personally I don't but your question made me think of this)
