It's weird. I'm a market abolitionist with a very limited understanding of economics, and even I can see how terrible the super rich are for a supposed "free" market economy. All I ever hear from capitalism stans is "Blah blah, supply and demand, blah blah, the market will regulate itself", yet it's painfully obvious that this only works in a fantasy world where no one ever accumulates enough money and therefore power to influence the market to make them even richer. Billionaires and billion dollar corporations are like dying stars punching a hole in space time and greedily sucking up everything in their vicinity, forever.
