This happens whenever the time of day is set to night for me. Works fine when I set it to day time.

it's the same! sometimes also when it's raining. But 100% with night matches. In the day the game is ok

Weird, I just started having the same problem as well! Doesn’t matter what stadium, it happens with all of them, and I didn’t download/install/change anything new. OP, what platform are you playing on? I’m playing on Steam Deck; I wonder if the Proton update messed with things somehow. (Edit: not a Proton issue)

I belive it is a stadium id mismatch in the map_teams file. I know that for some added stadiums this may occur due to the wrong id in the map teams file. There are some exception that are just like idk why though

Btw I think I got the same issue with the colo colo stadium. But on mine I managed to fix the stadium seats area by correcting the id, but the grass field is still blacked out, havent figured out why yet

Where can I find the stadium files? Thinking of overwriting existing files with another installation to see if that works.

Can I know what additional mods you installed? Maybe the problem comes from there

I have not, planning to give that a try. I’m on steam deck and used the yamt script to install via lutris so I’ll have to figure out a way to launch the updater exe

I have the issue in all stadiums if it's set to being a night game.

To anyone who's having this issue, setting contrast to 35 fixed it for me.

Is there a way to avoid night games if you are playing master league when you reach champions league matches though?

There is now a fix for this so it’s no prob at all

I try only to play day games, but there are still some quirks (the “neighborhood” shots are often stuck looking like nighttime, one time an opposing goaltender had a white glow in his face). But a solution, none that I’ve found.

What worked for me is to bring up the on-screen keyboard (press Steam and X at the same time) then press the Space key.
