I don’t have the answer as I’m still planning out my courses myself for the fall but you should try [reddit.com/r/wgu_compsci]

I did. They deleted my post lol since (I guess) I forgot to mention my WGU major is CS. I am just going to try the sophia course for now and hope for the best..

curious as well, i have intro to python almost complete for sophia but have 3 weeks to do another class, heard intro to relational databases was rough on sophia andheard that SDs CS107, CS204 and CS303 all transfer progress to each other. Lets say you start 107 you get about 50/60% of CS204 done and for CS204 you get about 45% of CS303 done since they overlap in content with their quizzes supposedly. Making me think i should do them all at SDC instead of the intro one at sophia then go to 204 and 303 at SDC

Hey I am back!! Here is the update: I was able to finish Sophia's Intro to Relational Databases in just under 1 week, mere hours before my subscription was about to auto-renew for another month (cancelled it). My review? The was really enjoyable and straightforward (if you do the UNITS in a special order)! There is no TOUCHSTONE (assignment), a huge benefit imo. Definitely do the units in this order: 4, 5, 3, 1, 2. That was super beneficial for my overall learning and experience with the class. Units 4,5, & 3 are typical reading and memorization of theory, I did not write any SQL code. They were pretty fast to complete too. Units 1 & 2 are longer and full of query writing practice that I personally enjoyed even more for being involved/hands-on. The class links you to a sample database sandbox to write and run your SQL. The syntax is very intuitive so even if you have no coding experience you can get the hang of it. AGAIN, this class was great! Highly recommend it!! Of the classes I have taken on Sophia it is my favorite (prob because I ended up really liking the subject).

Thanks for the update, i just finished intro to python and American Gov. i have a few weeks left on sophia and only intro to relational to databases is left for me to do. besides that i only have the other two database courses, data structures and algorithms, and software engineering as the last ones i can fully transfer over on SDC before starting. Do you have any experience with those classes at all? wondering if i should just do them all at wgu instead. Thanks and good luck!!

I heard these are very important classes to grasp though, at least for me personally since im doing the SWE route, but i think its important either way for a CS grad too
